Same Sky

Chapter 1

Everyday was a good day because of the birds who came to visit me. I'd put out food for them each morning and then I'd watch as they came to the feeders to gorge themselves for the day.

I'm Shin, just a normal student who has the most annoying and handsome roommate Chul, he's a trainee at a company called Zeal Entertainment who produced various  Kpop groups such as Stardust. Chul is so dreamy, his jet black hair, his eye as black as a space and his soft lips that makes you want to kiss him.

Today, our room is peaceful because Chul isn't around practicing for their evaluation, I know it's quite impossible for a normal person like me to be roommates with a trainee practicing to debut soon. But the thing is our parents personally asked us both to be roommates since we've known each other ever since for a long time. He talked to the CEO of their company and she agreed, the company also wants to cast me but I refused because I'm not as talented as Chul.

While I was enjoying this day without Chul annoying me he suddenly called " Shiiiin! Look at this"

He then showed me a picture of Axon, a boygroup I idolized for a long time, they're talking to them, he's so lucky!

He teased me  by saying "You want me ask them to say hi to you?"

"Can you? Pleaseeeee" I said doing my best to look cute so that I'll be able to convince him to do that for me

He stick out his tongue teasing me by saying "I don't want to"

He teased me a lot. So in an annoyed tone I said "Fine Chul, don't come home!"  so his other trainee friends laughed when they heard me Dae, Joon, and Hwan.

So he didn't really come home, I was so annoyed that he obeyed me. Of all the things I told him this is the first time he listened. I know he's with his friends so I'm kinda sure he's okay but I can't help myself but to worry about him.

I couldn't sleep properly, it's already 11 pm but I'm still awake, usually I sleep early but this time I couldn't, I'm really worried, has he eaten yet?

Should I call him? Or should I wait for him to call? This is so frustrating! Why didn't he disobeyed me and do what he wants this time? Or he  really doesn't want to come home?

I think I should sleep instead of overthinking. I'll just cook him breakfast as a sorry for what I said.

I was sleeping when I felt someone is looking at me, you know that feeling when you felt someone is watching or looking at you while you're sleeping.

I'm so nervous that I didn't dare to open my eyes, I felt that person's face is moving closer towards my face, I could hear the breathing. That person then whispered " I hope you slept well, or did you think about me all night?"

As soon as I heard that voice I opened my eyes only to see Chul messing with me again. I pushed him lightly and said "You almost killed me, I was so scared!"

"You're so coward"

"You know that I get scared easily"

"It's because you watch a lot horror movies and then think about it a lot" he said "Anyway I prepared breakfast, let's eat!"

"I was supposed to cook a breakfast for you"

"That's what I thought, you did miss me"

I puffed my cheeks and said "Don't be so confident"

He pinched my cheeks "I'm not confident but I'm sure you missed me" then he winks at me like he does when he's flirting with someone.

"I'll make you a coffee" I said then proceed to make him his favorite coffee, I don't know if he's kidding or what but he rarely drinks coffee but when I'm the one making him a coffee he looks like he's someone who loves coffee so much.

"I bought you your favorite cake" as soon as I heard Chul saying that my eyes widened, I'm so excited because I get to eat my favorite cake after a long time. He may be a bit annoying sometimes but he sure is sweet and thoughtful.

"Do you need to go to your company today?"

"The CEO gave us a day off today, why? Do you want to go somewhere?"

"As you can see we need to go shopping, we need groceries and stuffs here at our room"

"Let's go later in the afternoon"

"Chul..." I paused and look down for a moment and proceed to say "I'm sorry for what I said yesterday"

He smiled so bright and said "Just don't say it again, please"

"I won't, I promise"

I feel so bad that I said that because growing up I knew about every hardships that he had to suffer especially the day when his parents separated.

He's so afraid to lose someone he loves that he thinks a lot when he feels like he's being pushed away. Luckily his parents patched things up and lives in one roof because they became really good friends as time passed by.

As we were walking inside the mall I noticed many people looking at Chul, I mean who wouldn't he's handsome that's why he really suit being an idol, I hope he debuts soon.

We got inside the grocery looking for the stuffs we need, Chul insisted that he wants to push the shopping cart while I was picking the things we need to buy. Suddenly a lady walked towards our direction and asked "You look like a celebrity" pointing at Chul

He smiled awkwardly and said "You may have mistaken me for someone, I'm not a celebrity"

"Are you?" the lady said "What's his name again?"

"I'm not a celebrity but if I become one you'll see me at a billboard advertisement" he winks

"Can I atleast take a picture with you?" the lady asked while wondering who I might be

"You can ask my boyfriend first" Chul said looking at me

I was shocked when he said that, what is he planning to do? Is he seriously doing this right now? I mean without even telling me first.

The lady's eyes widened as soon as she heard that, she then proceeded to ask "Can I take a picture of you both?"

The lady shifted her look at me so is Chul waiting for me to respond to this sudden request. All I could do was to nod because do I even have a choice?

As soon as we took a picture the lady thanked us and said "You look cute together, your wife is cute" pointing at me

"Have a nice day!" Chul said while he's smiling

As soon as the lady left I pulled him in the side "What are you thinking?"

"If I said that who I am the company will know and that they will scold me for not being careful"

"Didn't you think that if they knew you told the lady that I'm your boyfriend, which is not true they would be glad to hear that!?"

"Why don't we make it true then?"

"Stop messing with me Chul!"

"I'm sorry, that's the only excuse I could think of"

"Okay, but please tell me beforehand or just give me a signal so that I know what are you planning"
