Chapter 3

Ever since the day we went out with Joon he never invited me to their hangout anymore, I received a massive scolding from Chul after that. Is he just jealous as a brother?

Chul is not around and I'm so bored so I decided to invite my friends to come over. Everyone is busy except for Yejun. Yejun is one of my buddies in our class, he's so kind and many girls go after him, he's really handsome that's for sure.

We went to the mall to buy something to eat. We're going to watch a movie so it'll get boring if we don't have something to eat. Chul really hates to seeing other people in our room but he's not around, and he won't notice

As soon as we arrived at our room he asked me "What kind of movie do you want to watch?"

"I can watch anything as long as it's not a horror movie"

"Oh so you get scared easily"
"So we're going to watch a horror movie" he added

"Yejun can we please watch other movies"

"You won't overcome your fear if you don't face it"

At the moment I realized he's right, I won't be able to get past my fear if I'm going to be scared for my whole life. I don't want to be scared anymore, and so I agreed "Okay let's watch a horror movie"

He played the movie, on the first half I flinched and got scared a lot but he said "It's normal to be scared but remember that everything we're watching right now isn't true, they're just fiction"

The movie ended and guess what, I watched the entire movie. I made it I'm not scared to watch horror movies anymore, atleast for today. Yejun really is a nice guy, besides the fact that he knows I'm gay, I mean everyone including our classmates knew that I was gay but of all the my classmates Yejun is the one who stood up for me especially when I got bullied by some schoolmates.

"Shin, I'll be going now my girlfriend just messaged me and invited me to a coffee shop"

"Thank you very much for hanging out with me Yejun!" I smiled

"Of course, if you wanted to hangout just tell me" he winks and before leaving he ruffles my hair.

I show him out of the building, as soon as we got out I tapped hid back and said "Be safe Yejun, and tell Yoona I said hi"

I'm very thankful to all of my classmates and to my friends who takes care of me. Studying in a different city is hard but they made it easy for me to feel comfortable and safe.

Chul will be home late so I need to buy food for my dinner, the only thing I can cook is an instant noodles and I don't think it would be healthy to eat instant noodles for almost everyday.

I was walking in the street at night when I feel that someone is following me, I feel a little weirded out and scared it's like the scene I watched from the horror movie. I walk as fast as I could and tried to act normal.

The street is a little empty because it's getting late so I started to run a bit to find a place with some people, there's still someone following me and I'm getting scared, I don't know what to do. Suddenly someone grabbed me from the back and said "Don't move"

The voice of that person isn't from someone I knew and it gives me chills from the spine. It's really creepy, what am I going to do?

"What do you want?" I asked

"Give me your money"

"Sir please don't do this"

"Just give me your money!"

I tried to push him to the side for me to escape butI failed because he's so strong, he then punched me in the stomach, pulled the wallet I'm holding, and ran as fast as he could. My stomach hurts a lot from the punch I received from that man but I'm thankful he didn't kill me.

I went to a police station and filled a report, I stated everything that happened and although I didn't see the face of the man who robbed me I did saw a tattoo from his left arm, it looks like a rose.

I immediately called Chul to tell him everything, I was crying inside the police station as I was very scared of what had happened. He told me "I'll be there, wait for me"

He then went to the police station as fast as he could and when he arrived he immediately hugged me and whispered "I'm glad you're okay"

I continued to cry and shake in fear but he assured me by saying "I won't leave you alone again"

"I will be here, you're safe now. I promise" he added

I hugged him tightly, his warm embrace made me feel safe. I was so scared that I'll get killed.

We went home and as soon as we went inside he caress my face and started to move slowly towards me. Our face is an inch a part from each other and I could feel his breathing. I was a little nervous and surprised that I don't know what to do.

He leaned his face on mine. His intense look captured him fully. His words rumbled from his chest. "Don't make me worry again, I can't afford to lose you"

From that moment I knee this was the right time so I gathered all my strength and tried my luck. I kissed him in ways I'd never kissed anyone before, feeling dizzy with delight when he began to kiss me back, his mouth moving with tenderness, then opening with intense demand over my lips, until our breaths mingled in gasps.

This kiss made me feel that all of those years of silently loving him was worth it. I feel like I could live for another hundred years. His kiss was as sweet as a grape soda, and it was warm. It's like the whole world opened up and I fell inside. I don't know what will happen after this, but the only thing that matters to me is Chul, who's here beside me.

Our kiss ended with a sweet smile. "You don't know how much I've been wanting to do this" I said

"Then I hope you could've done this before"
"I love you Shin" He added

"I love you too"

After that day Chul never leaves our room without me, even if I don't have anything to do with where he was going he would still bring me with him. He became much more sweet and protective of me.

We're going to have our finals examination in less than 2 weeks so we studied together and pulled out an all nighter, we can't afford to fail any exams.

Luckily I was able to study real hard because Chul is there to teach me.

"On the day before our exam, I won't be able to come home because our agency is going to hold an evaluation for the whole day to see how much we've progress as a trainee" he said "although I really want to bring you with me, but you need to study hard so we can pass the exams"

"Don't worry Chul I promise I'll study hard"

"We can do this!"

He kissed me on my cheeks and he started to cook our lunch. After everything I still kinda feel that I'm just dreaming.
