chapter 1

( middle school, btw this part of the story takes place in texas )

i start to walk to the bus stop, walking through the lushes leaves and that fall time vibe. as i step
onto the bus i immediately see my all time best friend, Conan Gray.

he quickly sits beside me and we both giggle and laugh as we ride the bus to school. when we get to school we walk through the halls talking about our plans for the weekend. " so do you think that you'll be able to sleepover tonight?" i say to conan ( this scene takes place on a friday, at school.) " i think so, i never have plans," conan reply's with a smile.

time skip: after school

conan and i walk out of sixth period exited for the sleepover. " hey so um i'll probably be over at like 6:00, i think that's when my mom can take me," conan says. " oooo ok cool, bro i am literally so excited. i know i just had a sleepover with you last weekend but i miss it already," i say jumping with excitement. " well my moms here, but i'll text you straight as i get home!" he says with a smile, " ok eeee, cannot wait!!" you say exited for later that evening. you guys hug and say bye and you both go to your parents to go home and get ready for later.

time skip: during the sleepover

as you finish cleaning your room you hear a knock at your door, "coming!" you yell as you rush down the stairs. you open the door and see conan standing there with his backpack and a pillow. " HEYYY " he yells, as he quickly hugs you tightly, " HEY BESTIE " you yell as you hug him back.

you both run up the stairs to your room and conan jumps onto your bed. " ugh it feels like i haven't been in here for ages," he says as he begins to unpack his bag. " i know oh my gosh like it's been 5 whole days!?" you say, happy that you get to see conan again. "ew thats wayyy tooo longgg," he replies with, you both start laughing.

later that night ( or morning i guess, idk its like 2 am ) you and conan slowly walk down your stairs, going to the kitchen to get food but you can't wake up your parents. you both step into the kitchen and conan opens your fridge. " hmm let's see," he says as he looks around in your fridge, "i see some apples, tomatoes, salsa... OOO I SEE SODA!!" " YAYAY " you say as conan quickly grabs it and sets it on the counter.

you open up your pantry and look around for a second. you see chips and quickly grab them, "OMG I FOUND CHIPS!!!" you say in an exited tone, "NOOO WAYYY" conan responses, then you guys grab the chips and soda and quickly go upstairs.

after you guys had watched a movie and painted your nails you both lay in bed and started to talk. "hey y/n-?" conan says in a soft voice, "yeah, what's up?" you say. "will you promise that we will be best friends forever?" he says, "what of course, i will love you forever and always," you say as you both make eye contact. " ok good because i need you in high school next year"( y'all are in 8th grade ) he says in a relived tone. "same, besties for life?" you say, " besties for life :)" conan says as he turns out the light.

note- you both fall asleep at like 3:30 am or something. this is all for the middle school chapter, hope you liked it!
