chapter 4

after school (conans pov)

i finish with my last class of the day and i walk over to my car. one i get into my car i pull my phone out of my pocket to text y/n about where i should meet them.

conan:
hey y/n i just got out of my last class and i was wondering where we should meet?

y/n <33:
oh hey, we can meet at that tree by the main building entrance at the front of campus

conan:
ok sure, see ya there

as i wait for y/n to come to the building i go
on my phone to check instagram. i see that y/n followed me back! i go to look at people's stories to see that y/n had also posted something. when i clicked it i saw pictures of them in their classes and they just talked about how bored they were. i laughed slightly as i heard the door open to see
y/n. wow they looked so pretty today, well they look pretty all the time but they just look... wow.

"hey" i say in a shy tone, "heyyy" they say as they smile back at me. " soo are you ready to go record shopping??" i say getting excited, "OBVIOUSLY" they say back, also excited.

we walk to my car and we both get in. " ok so what do you want to listen to?" i say as i pull up spotify, " hmmm" they say. "taylor swift?" i say, hoping that they'll say yes. "YES YES YES" they yell back, i quickly put taylor on and i begin to drive.

y/n's pov

y/n's thoughts: i'm so happy that conan and i are starting to hangout more. i haven't gotten over how pretty he is and how much i love him. i need to make it work this time, if he leaves i'll have nothing.

as we pull up to the record store we both jump out and run in. once we get in we look around for some of our favorite artists. as we walk around i see a familiar face, i quickly walk over to the album while conan is still looking around somewhere else.

i pick the album up to get a better view of it to see conans face, right on the cover. ( this is the sunset season EP ) "CONANN" i yell, he looks at me and says, "yeah, what's up." i walk over to him still in shock and say " what's thisssss—?" he looks at what i'm holding and says " oh well i sing, as you know and i actually released an ep..." " AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!?" i say in a shocked expression. "well i thought you knew and just didn't say anything because we weren't.. ya know, talking." he says as he looks up at me, "well i didn't know!!" i say in a hyper tone.

"ya know what?" i say, "what??" he says in return,"i'm going to buy it!" i say as i quickly grab the album from his hands and rush to the cashier. "whyyyy" he says as he walks towards me, "because" i say, "we are friends and friends support friends!" i pay for the record and conan and i leave the store. (conan also got some records but he got them like separate)

we get into the car to drive back to the apartments when conan starts to say, "hey,thanks for coming record shopping with me." i look over at him and say, "of course, also do you want to come over to my apartment to have some dinner?" he looks back at me for a second and says "sure,that sounds fun."

once we get to my apartment i begin to make pasta, conans sitting on the couch while i make the pasta. (the couch is right by the kitchen,it's a small apartment.) once i finished making the pasta i say, "ok it's done!" "yayyyy let's eat" conan says as he sits down at the table.

after we finish eating we do the dishes and we both sit on my bed. "do you want to watch a movie?" conan says, "sure!" i say as i begin to turn on the TV. "hmmmm what should we watch?" i say as i scroll through netflix. "what about a classic, princess and the frog?" he says as he looks over at me. "ooo sure" i respond with as i start the movie.

after about an hour i realized that conan had fallen asleep on my shoulder. i look over at him sleeping and realize how in love i am with him. i rest my head on his and we both fall asleep. (it's ok that y'all fell asleep bc this was on a friday so like you didn't have classes the next day. also don't ask why the first day of school was on a friday, idek it just kinda flowed into this)
