chapter 5

the next morning (conans pov)

it was 9:00 am and i woke up, i was sleeping on y/n's shoulder. i look over at them while they were still fast asleep. i slowly get up and walk to the kitchen, trying not to wake them up.

once i get to the kitchen i look around to see if they have any coffee. i look in the fridge to see a mason jar of iced coffee already made.

i grab the coffee and pour it into to two cups, one for me and one for them. after that i begin to make some toast. as i make the toast i see y/n start to wake up. once they woke up they said "morning cone." i look over at them and say "morning y/n," i look back at the toaster, waiting for it to be done.

"oooo is that coffee i see?" they say as they go to sit at the table. "only the best for you!" i say with a smile on my face. i can see them blushing slightly as they grab there cup of coffee and add some milk and sugar. "want any?" they ask, "sure" i say as i glance at them.

i finish the toast and i bring it to the table as y/n says, "so what do you have planned for today?" i look at them and hand them there toast and say "nothing really, you?" they look at me and say "yeah me neither." "so" i start to say, "do you wanna hangout?" i say, hoping that they'll say yes.

"sure!" they say happily, "ok so what should we do?" i said in return. "hmmm wanna go thrift shopping..?" they say, "YESS" i yell, getting excited.

"yes ok so do u wanna go to your apartment really quickly to get changed and we can meet outside in 10 minutes??" they say as they finish there toast. "sure" i say as i put our plates in the sink.

y/n's pov:

i go to my closet to get some pants, a collard shirt, and a crew neck sweatshirt. once i finished changing i walked outside to see that conan wasn't there yet so i just leaned up against the wall and waited.

after about 2 minutes of waiting i see conan walk out of his door. "you ready?" i say looking up at him. he responed and said " always." then we both walked down the stairs to where our cars where.

"can i drive?" i say as i walk to the car, "finnneeee" he says rolling his eyes (like in a sarcastic way he's not like mad lol.)

after we drive for about 12 minutes we finally found a thrift store. we walked in and we looked around for about an hour or so. conan got a sweater and a retro looking shirt and i got a hoodie and a cool skirt.

once we got back in the car conan says, "hey do you want too go get some coffee?" "yes" i say, smiling. we drive to a coffee shop and order. after we ordered we both sat down at a table in the coffee shop as we wait for the coffee, we talk.

"so how's life been?" he says as he looks at me, "well these last few days with you have been good but before that life was pretty boring," i responded with. "yeah, it's been fun hanging out with you again, it felt like middle school again," he says as he smiles. "i know right, i missed this," i say as i smile back at him. "y/n and conan your drinks are ready" i hear someone yell.

we both walk up to get our drinks, after we got them we go back into the car to drive back to the apartments, (it's like 4 pm now lol, y'all hung out a lot like at ur house.)

once we got back to the apartments we stand by my door to say bye. "thanks again for hanging out today," i say as we stand by my door. he looks at me and says "yeah, i had a lot of fun!" i look back at him and i cant get over how much i'm in love with him.

we look at each other and he slowly moves in for a kiss. our lips press up against each other and it feels like a dream. (YALL KISSED OMGG)

as you both pull away conan says "oh uh well i should probably get going," "oh uh yeah me too," i say as i begin to blush. we say bye and conan walks back into his apartment and i walk into mine.

i lay on my bed thinking about how amazing that was. i cant believe that conan and i kissed...

conans thoughts: Y/N AND I KISSED OH MY GOSH—!!!! wait does this mean that we are dating now!? i hope it does because that would be a dream come true...
