I don't know how this happened.
One moment, it was just an ordinary day. The next, I found myself in a world I didn't recognize—alone, lost, and with no one to ask for directions. No one here even knows the world I came from.
The world I used to live in.
"Goddess Cassiopeia! I surrender!" I shouted, hurling her cursed relic into the ocean. But no matter how far I threw it, it kept returning—always finding its way back to me.
I stood at the edge of a cliff, the wind tearing at my clothes, the roar of the sea far below. Behind me, voices rose in alarm. People were shouting, staring at me in disbelief—or was it reverence?
Still, the relic remained in my hands. I couldn't get rid of it. I had no other choice.
If the only way to break free was to sacrifice myself, then so be it.
With one final breath, I jumped.
The last thing I heard was the sound of their screams—echoing into the sky as I fell.
Maybe after this, I'll finally see what lies beyond the stars.
