Chapter 6: The Other Side

It has been a month since I lived here. There are still no answers to all of my questions. All I did was practice my powers. I practice telekinesis in class while I practice my other powers inside the dormitory where no one can see me but Blessica. At this very moment, I am studying for an upcoming quiz in defense. Amelia is also studying but I can still feel her deathly glare at me. That glare still makes me nervous.

In that 1 month of stay here, I became the more topnotch and all of the attention of the people in Therondia was given to me and I became quite famous too. Amelia was pretty pissed at what happened. I don't understand why is she angry, she has high grades as well. The teacher made us take the quiz and I immediately answered it. A few moments later, we passed our papers. The process of checking the papers here are faster since the teacher has the power to scan the write answers using her eyes only unlike in Manila that it takes a few weeks to correct them. 

"The person who got the highest mark is.......... Angeline!" All of my classmates clapped after our teacher's statement except for Amelia that gave me a sour face. I don't mind since I have my 3 friends supporting me. After class, I got out of the school while Blessica and the guys stayed since they left something and they just plan to grab it and go.

"You don't know when to stop do you?" Amelia blocked my way and told me this. I can't understand what she means that's why I asked her. "You're such an attention seeker! You're grabbing all the attention of people and you're stealing my spot! Why are you in this school anyway? You didn't attend middle school so please don't bother attending high school can you?!" Okay, this girl is starting to annoy me but I won't go physical on her. That's bad. "I'll stop attending high school if you say 'you are my lodicakes'" what I said confused her. Obviously, she doesn't know the meaning of lodicakes. I almost laughed but then the queen called her which made us stop to curtsy. Why is she here? She's supposed to be in her palace, resting.

"Apologize to Angeline this instance or else I won't allow you to study in this school anymore!" She commanded with dictation. She had no choice but to apologize and left after doing so. I thanked the queen and curtsied. She nodded as a sign of saying "you're welcome" and left. I walked away and isolated myself from people since I need space and time to think. I still remember the story of the queen which hasn't left my mind.

'''Flashback'''

"She's dead. The prince of Caspian murdered her." she's crying and I can see the agony in her eyes. She swallowed and began to talk again "Princess Hiwaga is my only daughter and child. She's beautiful and smart. Almost all of the gentlemen in Therondia are her suitors but she rejected them all because she has someone she loves and that man's name is Prinsipe Sinag of Caspian. My daughter loved him dearly that's why she eloped with him but HE RAPED MY DAUGHTER! He raped and murdered my daughter. He's a profane person that's why I'm still infuriated with the Caspians." She screamed while crying. I don't know what to say that's why I stayed quiet.

"The dress you're wearing right now belongs to her. She looked so good in the dresses I sent you when she was your age. My only wish to you is that please take good care of these clothes. Don't let anything bad happen to it." She's still crying. I don't know if this is the right thing to do but I hugged her until she stopped crying. I pity her.

I can't forget that story. I can't believe that there's such a vile person that can do such a thing. He has no conscience. Wherever Prince Sinag is, he should apologize to Queen Marikit and pay for the sins he caused to Princess Hiwaga. I really want to go back there and find Prince Sinag but I'm scared of what they might do to me. Based on Queen Marikit's story, Caspians are not nice people.

But I also have questions unanswered. I have lived here for 1 month already but haven't got a single answer. I already explored all the places here in Therondia but I still can't find the answers to my true identity. Then I decided, I'll go there nighttime when Blessica's asleep. I went inside my dorm and I saw a basket full of fruits with a note there saying:

"For you Angeline" 

That's the only thing written there. The name of the sender isn't written here. It must be from the queen again. She sent me these fruits at the right time since I'll have a long travel tonight. I waited till Blessica fell asleep and brought the fruits with me. She might be worried again if she finds out my plan. She might hear the sound of me teleporting that's why I decided not to use my powers at the moment and tiptoed my way out of the dorm. I was careful not to be caught by the dorm mother and I succeeded. I walked away from the dormitory for them not to hear the sound of my teleportation. I took a bite from the fruit in my basket and used my teleportation for me to go to the Kingdom of Caspian. The moment I took my first step at the other side of the portal, I felt dizzy and I felt my throat burning. 

Once again, I couldn't use my powers. Maybe because I feel uneasy and nauseous. I also tried shouting but I failed since I have a burning throat. It hurt whenever I try to talk. I unconsciously lied on the ground. I feel weak and I couldn't move any part of my body. I can't do anything else but to close my eyes.
