Weeks passed, and I still can't get over that nightmare. It looked so real to be fake. What could it have even been?
That figure wasn't ordinary at all. It had the same powers, as me. But, the aura was so evil. The way I use my magic was something that it would use it more. I don't even damn knew that how the hell I created this reality.
I am not a sorcerer or a wizard, am I? I'm just living by a mistake I did during the time of creating Ultron when I suddenly gained powers from the Mind Stone. These powers looked cursed, but somehow it brought back my family. So maybe I can forgive myself for that.
"These powers are not just ordinary, Stark. They're more than that."
A deep voice filled through my ears. I got up from my seat and looked everywhere around, trying to find who called me out.
"You just don't realise what they really are."
I gripped my hands into a fist. "Who are you? What do you want?" I cried.
"You won't have to think to far to guess what I want."
I turned around to the huge window, seeing the same cloaked figure outside, flying in the air. It's powers swirled around in the sky, tearing apart the area I was in. I backed off in defense, not realising what was happening.
I used my powers and flew in the air, reaching at it perspective.
"What do you mean?" I asked, tilting my head. The figure chuckled.
"I can tell what you're really are. But, I think this isn't a perfect time." The figure spoke up.
"There is time for everything, to know why are you pestering me!"
"Pestering? I am not pestering you, Stark. I'm here to tell who you are."
".. w-who I am?" I stutter at my words, and it's gone again. The cloaked figure vanished. I look around again if it's somewhere hidden but with a jerk I got back to my bed, with the walls all back to normal. The figure was no longer present. What the hell was going on?
What did that figure mean? W-who am I? What does that—
"Anthony! Lunch time!" My mother's voice called through the living room.
"Coming, mom!" I replied back, and left the room. I turned around to see anything happening but then I didn't care and went downstairs.
I head to my room to see my parents waiting for me on the table. Dad was reading a newspaper and mom was serving the food. I jump over the seat and rub my hands, ready to have my fill.
"Seems that my lad is hungry, isn't it?" Mom laughed.
"Of course, my mom has the best meals ever. Better than anyone in this world." I replied, smiling.
"I'm so lucky to have her, you know that son?" My dad chuckled.
"Really? You married me just for the food?" Mom just got suspicious and folded her arms, making dad serious.
"I-I mean.. uhm.. uh.. Tony, can ya help me?" He furrowed his eyebrows, giving a scared look.
"Well, dad. She's your wife. You gotta calm her down." I only gave back a smirk, making dad all alone this time.
"Explain it to me?" My mom started growing angry and dad got more helpless. I couldn't do anything but laugh. Jarvis along was hearing the conversation and chuckled.
"Okay, okay not just for the food, but because I love you so much, dear you mean the whole world to me you know? Come on, how would I live without you?"
"Your expression was saying so. Now I'm mad—"
"Hey, hey, hey! Maria! Maria my love, please. I love you to infinity!"
"That's not enough."
"Uhm, more than Tony then!"
I widen my eyes, my mom was more shocked and Jarvis gaped.
"How dare you challenge my son's love like that?" She hugged me.
"Argh, I messed up!" He banged the table, well, seems like mom and dad were having an argument.
"Mom, chill. I know dad never meant it, so please, come have lunch with us." I tried settling the matter, by convincing mom first. She then quickly calmed down and glared at dad, before seating on her seat.
"Dad.." I tilt my head, and dad gulped. My mom still stared at him.
"I'm sorry, Maria. I shouldn't have said that." He sighed and shook his head. My mom immediately smiled and pinched his cheek.
"Ow, ow, OW! W-what was that?!" My dad winced in pain.
"You look so adorable when you're serious like that." Mom replied, while looking lovingly at Dad.
He first seemed serious, then sighed in relief and smiled. "Oh thank god, it's all over."
"But I'm still mad."
"Never mind, I'll keep ya cherished, love." He winked.
I knew where this was going on.
Both of the made funny faces, and I just looked at like what was happening. I shake my head and continued to eat my lunch.
Sometimes I feel how things should have ended with me like this in real—
Wait.
Real?
I don't even know what real is now. It was meant to give me pain and suffering.
This reality is.. giving me back everything what I lost.
I think.. they aren't a curse.. they are.. a blessing.
I'm so glad to have these powers. My mom and dad, are back. Because of me.
I fixed my mistakes with this one reality. Everything's so natural now.
I will just make sure no one interrupts this happy fam—
*knock knock*
The main door knocked. Someone was outside, I guess.
"Who it can be? Anthony, can you check the door, son?" My dad told me, and I nod. I got up from my seat, and head to open up the door, and when I see who's outside..
I couldn't do anything but just.. glance.
It was a man in front of me, smiling brightly.
"The name's El Hombre de Hierro. Nice to meet you, Mr. Stark."
