Pacey Witter would honestly be the death of me. That boy since the first day of kindergarten made it his mission for me to get out of my stereotypical rich bitch shell. And I mean he did accomplish that, but boy during the process he almost managed to kill me at every chance he got. This week on the last week of summer before freshman year; Pacey took us out onto the jet skis that my parents had. I had always loved boats, jet skis, tubing, and water skiing when me or my dad was in control. But not Pacey Witter. As we jut out onto the rocky water, Pacey made no effort into slowing down and going the right speed so we wouldn't crash into each wave. I looked out onto the normally calm creek and saw white caps... I should have never agreed to go out in this... well actually I should have never agreed for Pacey to drive the jet ski. I had been out on the water since I could have been able to walk; meaning I was more capable in driving jet skis and boats since Pacey had only been on them once. But here I was clinging on to his life vest for the life of me on another "Witter excursion" to conclude the summer of middle school.

I found myself looking out onto the rough blue water trying to find the difficult words I would have to tell the brunette boy who had been my best friend for a big part of my life. I was leaving... and I didnt know when I was coming back. And the scarier part was that I was leaving to mold back into the stereotype that Pacey tried steering me away from. My Dad had another business offer in New York City and being the selfish bitch he always is... made me move with him. I mean I couldn't really stay considering it was just me and him, but I was finally happy and we were wealthy enough for him to not even work, but no he always has to have everything. He drove my mother to insanity and she just left us... more me than him. I think about it everyday on why she couldn't take me too or maybe she left because of my dad and me but I guess I'll never know.

" Pacey, come on if you hit one more sharp turn or a wave I'm going to fly off and drown. I hope you know that!" " Oh come on Julie you know I'd never let anything happen to you; except make sure you have fun," Pacey turned back smirking at Juliette. As much as she wanted to trust him; she couldn't trust the unreliable current and waves. Just as she was going to throw back a snarky remark the Witter boy hit another wave and this time her fear came true. Juliette flew off the back of the jetski, slamming her whole back into the water. Luckily for the Witter boy he had managed to stay on, but true to his promise he jumped off the jetski to make sure that Julieete was okay because boy would she have given him hell if she got a broken bone or anything.

Except when he looked around the boy could no longer find her. All he could see for miles were the gigantic crashing waves going over and over. "Julie! Julie! Oh come on Julie where are you!" Pacey started pacing and yelling all around as lake water crashed into his eyes. Suddenly he spotted her favorite purple vest poking out on one of the waves further ahead. Racing over he finally caught up to the girl who was lazily lying on her back.

" Oh come on! You seriously scared me for a second, you know that! I thought something might have happened to you!" " You can't lose me that easily Witter," Juliette glanced up, flashing a smile at the troubled boy. Pacey glanced over rolling his eyes, "Watever, let's just get back on and we can go to shore. How about that?"

"Yeah I need to tell you something, and the water here might drown us before I get to it." the blue-eyed girl explained.

As the two made their way back the Witter boy couldn't help but wonder what she was going to tell him. It only had been one year since the boy finally realized how he truly felt about Juliette; it was more than a friendship type of way. But he never wanted to say anything for the fear of her not feeling it back and ending their perfect friendship. The only two people that knew were Dawson and Joey... only because they pried it out of him. Juliette hated the two and I mean she has a good reason to. Joey would always make snarky remarks about how Juliette was a rich bitch and Dawson would either stand there or encourage them. So, Pacey had no fear in telling her because Juliette would just think of it as a prank or something to ruin her life again. All the way back as he stared into the blue that reminded him of Juliet's eyes he couldn't help but feel that she was going to tell him how she truly felt.
