I got my first packet of sour patch kids a few days ago
And they were everything I wanted
Sweet
Gummy
Sticky
And sour
And for the few days that I had them the sweetness of the candy turned into pure sourness and so the taste began to burn my throat and I found it odd that even the sweetest candy, the kind I've always craved can turn into a sweet pain, the addicting kind of pain.The warm burning filling my mind as it's all I taste for a few seconds. But in the end I consume more candy. Ignoring my thoughts telling me to stop the warm engulfing pain. But at least, even when the candy burns me I still get that hit of sweetness that's makes it all worth it.
