Chapter 8 Going home

We got to the dock and dressed up fancy. We made a paper thrown for me and Josh. And had steps going up to the thrown. I was wearing a green dress that went down to my feet. I took a lot of that medicine to make my tail disappear. It worked. I wore my hair up covering my horns. I wore makeup. my ears I had diamonds on the ends of my ears.The paper held as we where picked up by my crew. And taken to the castle. As we walked by the people of town we looked the part.

" Josh, I don't know about this." I said.

" Just try not to blow are cover." Said josh. Holding my hand out to wave at the people,as we went by the townspeople. We got to the castle. where the gates opened and we went into the intince. A welcoming party was taking place. The queen was there to great us. She had a purple dress on. With wight gloves. My crew put us down. On the ground gently and waited for us to go off the contraption made of paper that had a staircase to the paper thrones that we made. Josh held his hand out and helped me up we walked down the steps.  We got to the last step and walked towards the first step of the castle. my crew ran back to the boat with the paper staircase and thrones. The queen stood where she was. She held her hands together in the middle of her stomach. The silence was very uncomfortable. Then Josh broke the silence.

" Hello mother." Said with a bow. I bowed with him holding my dress to one side then letting go of the dress as I looked back up.  She bowed her head just a little bit.

" You left in such a hurry. I warned you about the dangers. And look at you, your hair is filthy. And are those beads in your hair?. You're going to have. To get your hair done, come inside." She said, grabbing his hand and pulling him up the stairs.  He got two steps away from me. And pulled his hand out of her grip. And walked back to me.

" No mother. She's coming with me. And you know what I kinda liked being a pirate. The adventures are nothing like it here. I hated being a Prince." Said Josh, holding my hand. The queen twitched her eye a few times.

" What are you doing!." I whispered into his ear.

" Why even have the costumes if we can't bend in." I said.

" For give his rudeness your majesty. He's had a long day. I think he just wants to be at the party. And go to bed." I said.

" I'll forgive you for speaking out of line. But I will not forgive you for being a pirate." Said the queen pointing at my wings.

" That's right I know who you are Karen dragon. Catch her and she will make a beautiful golden statue in my trophy room. "Said the queen.

" This was a mistake."  I said picking up josh and flying away from the castle. We got back to the boat and didn't find my crew. Once I set josh down a net came out of nowhere and got me. But not josh. I landed on the ground  with my wings covering me. Josh ran over to me to help me out. But his mom shouted.

" If you want her not to be killed you will do as I say." Said the queen.

" Josh." I said. Holding my hand out to him. He grabbed my hand.

" I'm sorry." Said Josh letting go of my hand. And standing in front of me. Josh walked towards his mom and said.

" Take these thieves away from my sight." He said.

" Josh?." I said sadly. They took me to the cage that we where going to steal and tossed me in there.  I got out of the net and my powers where back And my tail. I blew fire at the ship trying to hit the queen. I got her hair. Citing it off making it to a pixie cut.

" She's a angel elf." Said the queen. Touching her bernt hair.

" New plan let the crew members go, the angel elf stays here with me. take her to the Arena. She has some fight left in her. Angel elf's can transform into a full dragon if I remember right. But they have to be extremely angry. To do that. That's why they. Have to keep their emotions in check." Said the queen.
