Chapter 4 The Curse

We got approached by someone. Who had a giant ax on there back but they where walking forward. Suddenly my heart skipped a beat. I picked up Josh by the armpits and flew away from them before they could speak. We got to the boat and I grabbed Josh's sword from his side and cut off the brick with his sword. And I handed the sword back to him with the handle. He grabbed it from my hand and said.

" Who was that back there?" Said josh.

" Not now Josh." I said pulling up the sails and tying the rope holding it up down so it wouldn't fly away. I looked at the rope for a second then at the steering wheel. I pulled some of the loose rope to the steering wheel. And made it so I could tern the sail to steer the ship.

(" I can't believe it works.") I thought looking at my new steering wheel. System.

" We've got a problem." Said Josh pointing towards a ship who was following us and catching up to us. In the corner of my eye I saw a Blue flame and a tail. I looked for my medicine and I took 4 bottles of medicine. Nothing worked.  I still saw the flame tail. And my arms where growing scales and claws. My teeth had sharp canines. My wings grew bigger. The medicine didn't work it made me transform into a dragon faster.  I saw who was driving the ship and grabbed the last of my medicine and tossed it at them. I got them and the medicine broke and spilled on their face. They jumped in pain And shivered. They dived into the water. Leaving their ship to sail away. I ran to the side of the boat. I saw bubbles in the water as they where moving to my ship. Then they vanished.

" Where did they go?." I said looking at the water. Suddenly a person leaps out of the water and lands behind us. We turned around to see who it was.  It was a pirate hunter, He is well known as blue shark.  Because of his attitude and was raised by sharks. He has gills and a back fin. No tail. He wore a blue pirate outfit with a cape boots wight shirt a hat with a feather. Black pants and black boots. He had a sword that moved up and down like a wavy line.

He pulled his sword from his left side. And held it towards me. I blocked Josh who was frozen and wasn't moving but he was breathing.

" Dragon Karen, you're under arrest for stealing, breaking the law in several states. And kidnapping the price all these charges will be dropped if you just hand over prince Josh." Said blue shark. Reading a note that he grabbed from his pocket.

" I'm choosing to stay with Karen. Tell that to mother." Said Josh going under my arm and taking to blue shark.

" Your mother said you would say that. That means I get to take you anyways." Said Blue shark. Blue shark was going to attack Josh. I grabbed Josh's sword from his side and blocked blue shark with the side of the sword.

" What!." Shouted blue shark. Claws broke from my boots braking my boots in half. I kicked my boots off. and I pushed blue shark back. He was struggling to hold his ground. Finally he fell to the ground but as soon as he was about to get up I held my sword towards him. Holding him back.

" Stand down blue shark." I said with anger in my eyes. He grabbed his sword in a split second and tried to injure josh by almost getting his shoulder. I grabbed his sword by the blade and smashed it like a soda can. Making the blade break off. I dropped the blade of the sword on the ground.

" You broke my sword." Said blue shark. Looking at his handle.

" Now you pissed me off." I said grabbing him by his collar of his shirt. I pulled him to the edge of the boat and threw him overboard. He fell backwards into the water.  A few seconds later we saw him swim up to the top and swim away as fast as he could.

" Karen?." Said josh coming to me.

" Yes what is it." I said crossing my arms. Turning around and looking at him.

" Your medicine I saw you throw the last of it at that guy. Is it not working anymore." Said Josh.

" No it's not. I don't think that any medicine could help me now." I said. I looked at my feet they I only had three claws.  And my boots where destroyed.

My whole arms where covered in dragon scales. And my hands where now four claws.

" What's happening to you." Said josh looking at my hand.

" I think it's the curse. We need to get home now." I said.
