The war took it away.
The innocence.
Will never be replaced.
Hearing gleeful cries.
Seeing your loves come back.
Or sorrow filled wails while receiving a single letter.
Too many deaths cast aside as sacrifice.
Too many considered heroes by simply living through.
Death follows those who run.
I suggest you run where shadows are crippled.
Just like so many of our own.
