Crumpling paper nose.
Painted with pain.
Hitching hooks through skin.
Pulling cheeks low.
Eyebrows drawn hunched.
Faded skin transfixed with winter.
Eyes stare guilty.
Shacking tears wave their hands.
Teeth rattle chains.
A frozen frown stained face.
A smudge that has never faded through all my states.
