Elizabeth writes in her journal: It's been three days since what happened with Bucky and we haven't spoken a word about it. But today, we leave for London. A week since I woke up from a year long coma and I'm on my feet. In the field. God, who let me do this?

She finishes her sentence and takes her suitcase and duffel bag down stairs. Not knowing how long this mission would last, Elizabeth packed everything she thought she would need.

Tony was first to say goodbye. Wrapping his arms around her, he wouldn't let go. "I'm sorry." She breaks free from the hug and stares at him as he continues. "I'm sorry about the past and I'm sorry that you have to go through this after being in a coma."

"I love you, T." Is all she says with a smile before kissing him on the cheek.

Next was Natasha. "If you need anything. Call me." She tightly wrapped Liz in her arms. "I really hope you two could get along. If not for him, for me."

After all their goodbyes, the ex- assassin and the genius Stark sister were off to the airport.

She just sat there quietly, admiring the world around her that she hasn't seen in over a year. Elizabeth began reading through the mission file Tony gave Bucky before they left. Hunter and Aurora Brown. Her eyes kept gliding through the page and suddenly stopped. Married. Elizabeth felt a lump growing in her throat. Not only does she have to go undercover as a married lady to the ex-assassin that killed her parents, but do it in London. Her body shivered at the thought of going to that place again as her mind started to turn. She couldn't even tell her left hand from her right. "C-can you please stop the car... Please."

"We are going to miss the flight, I can't stop the car." Bucky said, looking over to Elizabeth. She did not look good.

She put her hand on her forehand sinking into the chair as Bucky tried to switch lines and pull over. At this point she couldn't even see straight.

"Are you ok?" Bucky finally stopped the car and looked at Elizabeth. But she just opened the door and fell. "Elizabeth?" He got out of the car and noticed her on the floor, leaning against the car.

Squatting down to meet Elizabeth's eyes he took her hand. "What's wrong?"

"N-nothing." She stuttered, pulling her hand out from his light grip. She was lying. After moments of silent eye contact Elizabeth finally let out a sigh "I can't tell you. I don't trust you enough...not yet anyways." She stood up and brushed off the dirt on her jeans before getting back into the passenger seat.

The rest of the car ride was quiet, no music, no talking, no eye contact- just thoughts. Elizabeth felt an emotion she had rarely felt- raging fear. It was swallowing her like quicksand. She had no idea what to expect on this mission and that's what scared her- the outcome.

Once they had arrived on the plane everything was fine, thanks to the empty seat next to Bucky, they had the row all to themselves which made Elizabeth a bit uneasy. He fastened his seat belt, putting his glove on his metal hand. "You ready?"

"Yes." Elizabeth replied. And that's all what was said throughout the whole plane ride to London. Yes.

London, England

Everything was different in London. It was colorful, filled with music, love, and people. Elizabeth couldn't help but look around, everything was just beautiful. Way different from when she last visited. As Bucky paid the taxi driver he looked at her, motioning her to get in. The drive to the hotel was quieter than the drive to the airport, but Elizabeth was distracted by all the amazing buildings they had passed on their way.

The hotel was breathtaking. The ceilings were super high and held by golden and white pillars, the floors were white and shiny, and the furniture was so elegant. Elizabeth couldn't even begin to explain how she felt when she walked into their hotel room.

A king bed against the wall with stain bedding. A record player on their long dresser. A huge TV. Two night stands. A big bathroom. And an amazing view!

She walked over to the king sized bed where Bucky laid the duffel bags he brought. He opened one revealing the weapons and gadgets they would be using if needed and the other contained his clothes and necessities.

"We have a party to go to, so get ready and we will go over the mission." Bucky said, handing Elizabeth her suitcase. "I'll let the team know we're here."

She went into the bathroom and shut the door behind her. She slipped out of her clothes and put on the red satin robe that was hanging on the door. Looking in the cabinet filled with hair and face products such as makeup, lotion, skincare, hair gel, and a hair curler. Elizabeth wasn't the make up type but her brother's assistant, Pepper, had shown her the basics when they she'd gotten the job.

Moisturizer, primer, foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, highlighter...you get it. After curling her hair and doing her makeup Elizabeth looked in the mirror and she had felt like a different person. She didn't recognize the person looking back at her hazel eyes, but that was good...right?

She shook her head, clearing her mind and finally it was time to get dressed. Elizabeth picked up a bag with the dress Tony had picked for her. Her lips slowly parted at the beautiful piece of clothing hanging in front of her. Woah.
