~Chapter 1~

Beep

The obnoxious beeping made the girl groan furiously. (Y/N) slammed her hand down on the alarm clock wanting to break it. She lifted her head up from her pillow to see if her brother was in the doorway or making his way over.

(Y/N) didn't see her brother. She thought 'tsk it's my first day of school and he's just going to sleep?'

(Y/N) slowly got out of her bed, stretching as she looked through her closet for her school uniform. She threw it on and went to the kitchen.

She stood in the kitchen sighing knowing that home cooked breakfasts could never be a thing in this apartment. As (Y/N) put her fingertips on the cold doorknob to leave she heard her brother behind her yawning.

The girl turned around and made a pouty yet upset face at her older brother. "I wouldn't have moved here if I knew you were going to starve your little sister", (Y/N) cried.

Rin just laughed and ruffled her hair. (Y/N) smiled warmly towards her older brother who she now lived with. 'Maybe it won't be so bad if I get starved, at least I get to see him everyday', she thought.

Rin mumbled making sure (Y/N) could hear, "Well, I can't exactly cook." (Y/N) laughed as she left the apartment.

(Y/N) was sluggishly walking to her class with her back hunched. Before sliding the door open she straightened her back to make a good first impression. The teacher gave her their attention as she walked in, "Oh you must be (L/N) (Y/N) the new student." (Y/N) nodded her head slowly, not ashamed that she was a little late but more from being tired.

The teacher gave you a welcoming smile then proceeded to say while putting their hands together like a clap, "Well good then. You will be sitting next to Kotaro Bokuto-" before the teacher could get anything else out someone was practically screaming.

She heard someone shouting towards her while waving his arm, "Hey hey hey, over here!" The boy had hair that was spiked up, a light grey to a darker grey, 'is he purposely trying to look like an owl?' (Y/N) thought to herself.

(Y/N) sighed and went back to her hunching while walking towards the seat next to who must be Bokuto. While sitting down she saw a folded up note on the desk that was quickly placed down by Bokuto who was giving her a big smile.

She gave the owl boy a soft smile and unfolded the note. (Y/N) read on the note 'hey hey hey, im Bokuto ->'. The girl had a light smile on her face while thinking in a sarcastic way 'this year will be fun..'

(Y/N) started writing on the paper under Bokuto's note. Bokuto sat straight up and leaned towards (Y/N) to see what she was writing. She handed the note back without folding it, her response was 'hi you should know my name but im (L/N) (Y/N)...owl head'. He looked over at her and gave her a pouty face. (Y/N) smiled warmly and gave a little wave to him.
