~Chapter 12~

~Next Day + Second Person: (Y/N)~

You slowly stirred awake, rubbing your face gently against what you were sleeping on. You let out a quiet yawn causing you to close your eyes.

You looked down to see a blanket on you. You tried remembering what time you fell asleep at, and why you fell asleep while sitting up. You brushed your (h/c) hair out of your face while turning your head. Your eyes wandered up, your face was now two inches away from the setter boy's face. 

You felt your face burn and your whole body start to heat up. You now realize what you did last night.

'He looks so.... peaceful,' you thought. You examined his face as he peacefully slept. His chest slowly went up and down as he breathed.

~Second Person: Akaashi~

You opened your eyes when you woke up. Your eyes locked with (e/c) eyes, who belonged to (Y/N). Blushed over took your face: your face now a crimson red. (Y/N) caught the blushing, turning her face a shade of red.

You cleared your throat while looking away and rubbing the back of your neck.

The (h/c)-haired girl quickly unraveled her arms from around your waist as she got up. You turned your head to face (Y/N). She was looking away from you now, bouncing on her heels in a nervous manner.

You saw that the tip of her ears were a bright red, with it also being spreaded across her face. A slight smile grew on your face.

~Second Person: (Y/N)~

You bit your lip softly just before your phone started ringing. You answered the call as any normal person would.

"Hey (n/n), I'm sorry, but I won't be able to come back in the morning," your brother said over the phone.

"Oh, that's fine," you rubbed the back of your neck.

"Did you burn down the apartment?"

"Oh, that? Um no not this time," you answered nervously. "My friend came over and he helped me cook dinner."

"He?!" Rin exclaimed on the other side. "You have a boyfriend without my permission? Did you at least use protection?!"

Your face instantly went red. You stepped out of your room while closing the door behind yourself.

You raised your voice, but kept it at a whisper, "He is not my boyfriend....You met him before anyways. Nothing happened!"

"Ook then little sis. I'll see you later, I want nothing bad to happen." With that he hung up.

~Third Person~

The girl sighed and saw Akashi come out of the bathroom in his school uniform from the previous day.

"Here are the clothes," he said while handing the clothes he borrowed to (Y/N). The girl smiled softly and took the clothes. "Was that call from your brother, (Y/N)-san?" Akaashi questioned.

(Y/N) responded, "Yea, he said he wouldn't be able to make it back till later."

Akaashi nodded his head and asked, "Would you like to hang out today then?"

(Y/N) nodded her head violently fast, she then blushed at her quick response. "Uh Y-Yea we can hang out," the girl said.

Akaashi nodded to her and stated, "I'll be back to pick you up in an hour." The girl nodded her head, understanding as the boy walked out the apartment door.

After an hour passed the girl was waiting anxiously on the couch for the boy.

Akaashi was running up the stairs to get to the girl's apartment. He didn't want her to wait long for him, but he felt nervous. Akaashi put his hands on his knees to regain his breath when he got to (Y/N)'s apartment. 'You got this, it's just like hanging out with Bokuto-san... with a different person though,' he told himself.

He stood up straight and pushed away any noticeable wrinkles. He knocked on the door and waited.

(Y/N) jumped out of her seat when she heard the knocking. She opened the door to see the blue-eyed boy. "Ready?" Akaashi asked. The (e/c)-eyed girl nodded her head and grabbed her purse/bag.

The two walked out of the apartment complex. Akaashi led the way to the places he picked out for them. The girl kept asking questions over and over like, "Are we there yet?", "Where are we going?" or "Can I get a hint please, please, please?"

The boy kept shaking his head and said after the last question, "It's a secret you need to wait till we get there." If Bokuto was the one doing this to him he would've been somewhat annoyed, but with (Y/N) doing it... he thought it was cute and amusing.

Akaashi stopped in front of an arcade and looked over his shoulder to see (Y/N)'s face lighten up. "Is this the place?!" the girl asked excitedly while practically jumping up and down. The boy nodded his head with a smile on his face.

Not thinking, the girl quickly grabbed the boy's hand and ran into the arcade. She walked to the coin exchange machine and fed her bills into it, returning her a handful of coins. Akaashi quickly did the same to keep up with the childish girl.

The two teens spent an hour running around the arcade and playing the games. Some against each other, playing as a team and others watching each other play the games. (Y/N) looked around the dark lighted building for another game the two could play.

Her eyes landed on a claw machine. Akaashi saw the girl's eyes glisten as she admired the machine. He smiled and nudged her arm, "Come on. Let's go over there darling," and he started making his way towards the claw machine. Blush spreaded across her face and she quickly followed behind.

"Which one?" the boy asked. (Y/N) looked at him with confusion as he scanned what was in the glass box, "Huh?" "Which one do you want? I'll get it for you darling," Akaashi insisted.

The blush on her face darkened. She quietly spoke while putting her index fingertip against the glass, "U-Uh, t-the frog plushie...."

Akaashi smiled and nodded at her decision. After two tries he got (Y/N) the lime green frog plushie which had its tongue sticking out. (Y/N) smiled from ear to ear happily.

He picked up the frog and handed it to the (h/c)-haired girl. She slowly took it from him, "Th-Thanks Akaashi." Akaashi put his hands in his pockets and nodded his head, "Anytime (Y/N)-san."

Akaashi and (Y/N) made it back to the (L/N) apartment a little before dark. (Y/N) held the cheeky-face frog in her arms against her chest while she fiddled with her fingers. She opened the door and stood in the doorway, "Thanks for hanging out with me today Akaashi."

Akaashi looked away a little with a tint of blush on his cheeks, "No problem (Y/N)-san. G-Goodnight." The girl smiled and said "Night." She walked into the apartment and closed the door.

(Y/N) slid down the door, not caring if her brother was home or not. Her face was beet red and she was smiling like an idiot.

She stayed there, replaying the day over and over in her head. Her eyes slowly widening after the third replay. She thought to herself, 'Was that a date?....did we just, not knowing, have a date?!' The girl shook her head to stop thinking about it.

She got up and made her way to her room to get ready for the night.

After getting her pajamas on she fell onto her bed while cuddling the frog plushie which Akaashi got her. Happy as ever, even if it was a friend date or an accidental date.
