~Week After Last Chapter~

(Y/N) was flipping through her arrangement of shirts and tops that hung on her clothes rack in her closet. Looking over the same shirts and tops over and over again to find the perfect top.

She dragged her feet and forced herself back to her dresser with a drawer already open which held her pants. (Y/N) flipped through them like a magazine, speeding through her options she had: dark stained pants, light sky blue and some ripped.

(Y/N) stopped herself, the pants once in her arms were now on the floor wanting to be back in their homey drawer. She gave herself a shocked face, with her eyebrows raised, eyes widened and a small grin. 'Why am I freaking out about this?!' She groaned out loud, mumbling to herself, "This isn't a date (Y/N). Just two friends wanting to hang out with no other friends with them. There's no need to look nice to impress your crush."

She picked up the pairs of pants she dropped. Her eyes stopped on a pair of (whatever you want to wear -3-). (Y/N) slipped off her bottoms and pulled on the pants. She flipped through her shirts again- hopefully for the last time- and landed on an oversized pastel (f/c) sweatshirt.

She slipped off her Aoba Joshi volleyball club shirt and put on the sweatshirt. (Y/N) left her room and went to the washroom. She fixed her hair into the style she wanted and proceeded to check herself out. (Y/N) grinned and mumbled to herself, "At least I'm not like Flattykawa."

(Y/N) grabbed her bag/purse, throwing her phone and keys in. Akaashi and her decided to meet up in front of her apartment building. Akaashi was walking up to the front of the apartments with his hands in his pockets. He was wearing straight jeans and a dark grey sweatshirt.

He watched (Y/N) walk out of the apartment doors as she was typing on her phone. (Y/N) looked up from her phone and smiled at Akaashi. "Hey Akaashi-kun!" She said, trying to brush away her nervous feeling.

Akaashi's eyebrows furrowed at the new nickname, 'Akaashi-kun?' His cheeks turned to a light pink. Akaashi mumbled loud enough for her to hear, "Hello (Y/N)-san."

The two started to walk to the subway station so they could get to a cafe Kuroo recommended to them. "Hey, you two." Kuroo said, getting Akaashi's and (Y/N)'s attention. "The cafe near Nekoma High is pretty good," he finished while wearing a grin on his face."

They walked to the subway with small conversations. The nervous feeling that was once in (Y/N)'s stomach disappeared (along with her virginity later that night- jk jk). She felt like she was just hanging out with her close friend instead of thinking of it like a date.

They made it to their subway when the train came to a halt. The two walked onto the compartment as soon as the doors opened. When they boarded the seats were already occupied. Their only option was to stand next to each other in the middle aisle.*

*(I know nothing of trains or subways as I am a town kid, so please forgive my lack of knowledge on subways/trains. I tried researching but I couldn't find anything that would help)

As more people filled the train it caused Akaashi and (Y/N) to be pushed closer to each other. (Y/N) nervously laughed, "Haha, rush hour I suppose." Her cheeks flush red when someone accidentally hits her back pushing her closer to Akaashi. He nodded his head and looked away with rosy cheeks.

~Second Person: (Y/N)~

Heat sprawled throughout your body, 'God why did I decide to wear a sweatshirt.'

You looked at Akaashi as you two were at most six inches away from each other. You laughed, making you feel more awkward and nervous, "Haha, rush hour I suppose." You gave a genuine smile.

Akaashi gave you a nod then looked away. You looked down and softly sighed without Akaashi hearing you.

~Second Person: Akaashi~

You kept on getting pushed closer and closer to (Y/N). Her (favorite/scent) scented shampoo filling your nose. Your cheeks start burning red.

"Haha, rush hour I suppose," she nervously laughs. Her laugh, even if it was awkward or nervous, was adorable. She gave you a smile, not to cover up her being nervous, but her casual, cute smile.

Your mind went soft, melting from (Y/N). You just nodded your head, agreeing to what (Y/N) had said and looked away, feeling more heat reach your face.

~Third Person~

The two waited till everyone got off the train to walk out, themselves. (Y/N) opened her phone to look for the cafe when they reached the sidewalk. Akaashi glanced towards her, admiring her side profile.

She pushed some hair back behind her ear and looked at Akaashi. "I got the location. It's not a far walk from Nekoma High, but still some walking," she calmly said. Akaashi nodded and the two started their walk to the cafe.

A small bell chimed as Akaashi opened the door for (Y/N). She walked towards the counter and looked at the menu which hung from the ceiling. The black-haired boy followed behind her, also looking at the menu.

Akaashi said softly to (Y/N), "Darling, are you ready to order?" Small butterflies filled both of their stomachs. She nodded her head and said to the young man taking orders, "May I get (favorite/dessert) and a strawberry lemonade [don't like it, you can change it]." The man nodded and looked towards Akaashi.

Akaashi added to the order, "A strawberry crepe and a coffee." The worker nodded for the second time and told the two the total. The second-year boy pulled out the amount. (Y/N) felt guilty about him paying for her, but Akaashi reassured her. (Y/N) put loose money she had in the cafe's tip jar.

After ordering and paying they grabbed a number and went to sit at a table. The two sat at a table by the window.

(Y/N) started fiddling with their order number as she was looking out the window. Akaashi was gazing at (Y/N)'s features/ Taking note of the things, how her eyes would shimmer in the sun's rays. How she pouted her lips lightly while thinking.

A bed-headed boy leaned over and whispered, "You sure they aren't dating?" A boy who resembled an owl looked as if he was studying the scene, "I'm sure, Kubro. I'm also sure they would have told me because I am their best friend." Kuroo nodded at Bokuto as they kept spying on the two from behind menus

(Y/N) looked over at Akaashi, smiling at him. He gave a subtle smile back. A waitress came over to the two's table, dropping down their drinks first then their sweets. "You two love birds have a wonderful meal," the middle-aged waitress said in a chirpy tone.

(Y/N) opened her mouth to object to them being love birds, but the waitress left for another table too soon. Akaashi grinned and shook his head at the scene

The flustered girl looked down at her food, something delicious that would come out of a food magazine. She quickly took a bite of the (f/d) and smiled happily. Akaashi watched as she enjoyed the bite of the dessert.

Akaashi looked down at his strawberry filled crepes, with a small swirl of whipped cream on top. He glanced back up at (Y/N), who was in her own fantasy land with the (f/d). He scooped some of the whip cream on his finger and poked the girl's nose.

(Y/N) flinched at the sudden cold touch on her nose. She opened her eyes to see Akaashi smirking at her. She looked at her nose. Her face flushing red, possibly melting the whip cream on her nose from the body heat.

She whisper-yelled, not wanting to get the whole cafe's attention, "Akaashi!" Her flustered face slowly grew a smile on it. She bursted out laughing. Akaashi soon laughed with her.

~

Akaashi put the whipped cream on (Y/N)'s nose. Kuroo's eyes widened as he gasped while Bokuto's haw completely fell to the floor. Kuroo glanced at Bokuto and closed his mouth, not wanting him to catch any flies.

Kuroo said to himself in a whisper while crossing his arms over his chest, and watching the two love birds laugh, "Damn." Thinking to himself he said, 'This boy has some moves.'
