Dyland
I notice blood leaving Alexis's head as she stopped fighting me. I let go off her head as she wasn't moving. "Babe?" I said lowly as she resurfaced from the water not responding. I pulled her into my arms holding her as she felt as light as a feather.
She was dead.
I pull out my phone calling the only person I knew who could help me. "Ja'mon... I need you to come pick me up." I told him. "Where you at?" He asked me as I look around not even knowing as I sent him my location. "I'm on my way." He told me before hanging up the phone. I sit in the water with Alexis for a hour before Ja'mon finally pulls up. "How the hell did ya get down there!" Ja'mon yells from the top of the bridge as he notices my face and the body I was holding. "Oh no." He mumbled before rushing down the steps and running towards me. "Dyland please tell me you didn't kill her." Ja'mon says as I just stared at her with a blank stare. "Fuck!" Ja'mon starts to panic as he starts to pace around. "Get her in the car." He said but his words just went in one ear and out the other. "Dyland you do realize Melanie is going to freak the fuck out!" He tells me as I felt a sudden emptiness in my stomach.
"We need to bury the body and deal with Melanie." I tell Ja'mon as he looks at me as if I was crazy. "Dyland you just got out of jail... I say we bury the body and just get the hell out of the city." Ja'mon suggested as I shake my head no. "My fucking fingers are all on her body nigga." I tell him as Alexis jumps up hard spitting and throwing up water as we both got startled. She rubs her head as she winces in pain as she looks up at me. "Dyland? What are we doing out here?" She asked me before passing out unconscious. I start to feel light headed as well as I was still bleeding out as my adrenaline rush had finally ceased. I dropped right on top of Alexis passing out alongside her.

"Wake up Moragany, warden wants you to scrub every toilet until it's stainless." One of the prison guards said as he opened up my cell. It was officer Stanley I hated that guy... always picking with me. Bullying me. I wanted to kill this guy badly but I couldn't because I was locked up. I don't need any more time added or worst to prove the system right that I was a murderer. I get up taking a piss as he stands there and watches me. "Can I get some privacy?" I asked him getting irritated. "You can get my stick up yo ass." He says as i scrunch my face up at him looking at him puzzled. "Bro what?" I finish up and wash my hands with nothing but water because I didn't have any soap. Before leaving I took a handful of water and sipped from my palms getting something to drink. I followed Stanley as he lead me to the showers as he gave me cleaning supplies to scrub the toilets. It took hours to clean each and every last one of those toilets, I was disgusted and beyond angry.

"Dyland?" I opened my eyes to see Alexis in front of me. "Alexis?" I responded before realizing I was in a hospital bed. I was stitched up and all wrapped in bandages as my body was still sore. Alexis had bandages wrapped around her head too. "Ja'mon told me you saved me from that car accident... your always saving me." She tells me as I was confused. "What?" I asked her as she looks at me with the biggest smile. Is she playing with me right now? Last time I checked she wanted to kill me. Ja'mon Immediately walks into the room grabbing Alexis by the hand as he leads her out the room. He then comes back into the room by himself shutting the door. "What the hell was that about?" I asked him as he grabs his dreads slightly tugging them. "She kinda has amnesia." He tells me as I remember banging her head on that rock. "So what did you tell her?" I asked him as he shrugs his shoulders. "I told her you two got in a argument while she was driving and the car flew off a bridge and you saved her from dying." Ja'mon says as i grin at him. "I mean... it's not completely wrong." I say as he takes a deep breath.
"I think you should leave her alone." Ja'mon tells me as I grow irritated. "The fuck do you mean." I say as he looks out the curtain to see if she was near. "When she gets her memory back... today... tomorrow... maybe months from now... she's going to hate you. And I'm pretty sure she'll go to the cops... or worse try to kill you again Dyland." Ja'mon tells me as I shake off what's he saying. "We're going to be okay... all she needs to do is go to church get her mind right." I say as Ja'mon shakes his head.

The days went by as me and Alexis spent time together, it felt like how we met all over again. I would tell her about we met and how we ended up getting together. Of course I would leave out the bad things I've done. But why would I want to remind her of all the bad... I wanted her back in my life by any means.
The doctors released us as me and Alexis were holding hands as we were leaving the hospital. Everything was going good until her sister and mom showed up. Melanie and Ms. Kraven were right at the entrance as Melanie eyed me down suspiciously. Alexis let's go of my hand and she runs to her mom and hugs her before hugging her sister as well. "The doctors says you saved her life in a car accident?... funny how Alexis never got into a car accident until she met you." Melanie says as Alexis looks at her almost irritably. "Stop. Accidents happen." Alexis tells Melanie as she rolls her eyes. "Yea... just like Jericho being found dead 30 minutes away from where your car crashed?" Melanie says as Alexis starts to get this look of realization on her face. She sits there standing puzzled as if she was putting pieces back together somehow.
"Dyland... you were locked up... You got China killed... you killed Shawn... You nearly killed me!" Alexis says as Melanie and their mother starts to look at me questionably. "Damn you remember all that just by remembering him." I say as the women all start to mug me. "You attacked me." I tell them as Alexis has that hatred in her eyes again. "I never lost my memory stupid... I wanted to kill you... but you actually love me don't you... part of me still loves you to... after you took literal gunshots for me... but the thing that bothers me the most is... You would tell me all the good things about us... and leave out the bad... wanting me to see you as the good guy... and it almost worked." Alexis tells me as she looks at me with this weird look... it was almost as if she didn't know what to think of me. "I need space." She tells me as I nod my head and walk away from her and her family... wanting to just lay in my bed.
Because what else can I do? I lied, cheated, and stole her whole life from her. Maybe she's just better off without me. I got her sister killed. Why did I think she would ever forgive me?

"You finally home." Ja'mon says once I stepped into the apartment. I had walked a hour just to get here from the hospital. "I got something you need to see." Ja'mon says as he turns on the tv to show my cousins rapping. "What the fuck is this?" I say almost laughing as Ja'mon was serious. "Fuck the video listen to lyrics and what they saying man... this shit is fucked up." Ja'mon tells me as he plays it back as the song breaks out into a hook. "Nigga Dyland's a bitch, should've got hit, he's a goofy, should've dip, when we dumped them clips, you still got chipped blue cheese, that's why that bitch died we made her mama cry, that bitch shouldn't have been in the way! And I ain got no fucking heart when I catch you imma put a bullet right through my cousins face!" Audrey snapped on the song as I feel immediate anger to his words.
"What the fuck did he just say?" I turn the tv off as Ja'mon looks at me rubbing his hands though his hair. "He's sending shots at you. I didn't know yo cousins were rappers." Ja'mon says as I shake my head at him. "Them niggas not they just be tryna rap and they shit ass." I tell him as he turns on the tv and clicks on the video profile showing how many views they got. 321,502 views on YouTube. "Pack your bags." I tell Ja'mon as he looks at me confused. "We're going to Indy." I told him as he sits up as I grabbed a glock from the table. "They want to send shots? We gone send shots back." I tell him as I grabbed the Ar too. "What about Alexis?" He asked me as I shrugged my shoulders. "We're over. It's time to get some payback for China." I tell Ja'mon as he stands up and grabs a glock nine as well. "You ready to kill yo own cousins?" He asked me as I don't say a word and walked out the door as he followed behind me.
I been ready ever since they shot at me and missed.
