We came back in the beach. Joseph and Addie are still standing in front of the view. Mapapansin ang tawanan at kulitan nila. But everything ended dahil may tumawag kay Joseph. It was Bella (16)

Lumingon naman ang dalawa sa pinanggalingan ng boses na iyon. The smile attached in Addie's face suddenly turned into bubbles. He was back in his poker-faced self.

Joseph on the other hand smiled wider at the sight of the girl. Kaaagad itong lumapit sa babae. They exchanged meaningful stares.

Well, we can say by here that there is something between them. It was clarified when Joseph responded.

JOSEPH:

Addie can be seen as if he was punched again by reality.
He turned his back. He can no longer witness the love between them. Again... he gave his iconic smile: The smile against sadness.
