I can't stop staring at the door. I'm just waiting for him to walk in with Jake. What's gonna happen when he remembers we're table partners? What if he beats me up? Wait, I don't think he'd hit a girl. But what if he gets one of his little girlfriends followers to beat me up??? I mean, the queen bee in our school is head over heels for him so I'm sure she would-
"Hey"
.........Oh.........my...........gosh........
Andy is sitting, right next to me. I guess I didn't see him come in since I was too busy freaking out about him sitting next to me....
WHICH HES DOING RIGHT NOW OMG IM ABOUT TO DIE I-
"Um, hi. Elizabeth, right?"
Well fuck, thanks for teaching me manners mom, now I have to answer.
"Uh ya, that's me." I answer, trying not to look into his eyes. I'm scared what other emotions I'll see if I do.
"Um, I'm uh, mffphsmphfpms." He mumbles the ending.
"I'm sorry, could you speak up please?"
"I said, I'm sorry about this morning." Andy says, barely audible.
"Oh."
"Yeah. I um, I'm sorry Jake was rude also. I really didn't want to be mean to you. You didn't do anything wrong." He says while looking down at his hands.
Wait, he's apologizing for his friends being mean? This is Andy McAldron we're talking about!!! The top bad boy at this school. Who never gives a crap about anyone but himself. And he's apologizing to me? When did I walk through the closet into Narnia?
"Oh, it's um, it's ok. I'm used to stuff like that."
He looks up at me sympathetically, "That's not ok. you shouldn't have to be used to that."
"Well I am and that's just how it is I guess." I say a little too defensively, immediately regretting it. He was trying to be nice and I'm here being an absolute jerk. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way."
"It's ok." he responds looking, hurt?
Andy turns away from me, probably to talk to Jake at the table next to us, so I look forward and half tune-in to Mr.Andrew's lesson. Luckily we never really doing anything in this class so I ended up staring at the wall for the rest of class.

The end of the day couldn't have come soon enough. I pretty much bolted from my french class and out to my car so I could get home. I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up with homework in just two of my classes. I'd have, like, five hours free for Netflix! Hallelujah!!!!
Pulling into my driveway and parking next to my mom's SUV, I sat there for a minute to finish listening to 'trumpets'. Don't judge, it's a great song.
Heading inside, I had only one thought, "bed, here I come."
