'BEEP BEEP BEEP'Almost instinctively, my hand hits the snooze button. I think. Oh well, I'm not going back to sleep now anyways.
Why?
Cause it's my first day of being a senior!!!!!!!!!
"Lizzy-bug, hurry up sweety. Don't want to be late."
"I'm coming mom!"
I took a shower last night so I just put on some skinny jeans, a red flannel shirt, and my black high top converse. My hair gets thrown into a ponytail. And I'm not allowed to wear makeup. Brush my teeth and then I'm down the stairs.
"Do you want me to drive you Elizabeth?"
"No thanks mom, I'll just drive myself."
"Ok, have a good day! Did you eat breakfast?"
"Yes." no, but who wants to eat right when they wake up?
So during the drive to school, I'll catch you up:
I'm Elizabeth Carter, 18 years old. I live with my mom, my dad died when I was little but don't feel bad for me, he was an alcoholic and drank himself to death. I hate, loathe, and fucking despise alcohol.
My mom thinks I'm a perfect angel.
But I'm not.
I swear, I lie, and I probably broke the #1 rule for angels (according to my mother)
I like a boy.
I'm not allowed to date because of my mom. When I was six, she said:
"Never ever date a boy Elizabeth. They're sneaky and mean and will only bring you pain. After all, the only man a girl can trust is her daddy."
Yea right, I trusted him and look how far it got me.
So ya, that's kinda how my life goes. Until today anyways. Today is when everything seemed to change.
