The Girl I Once Was

Chapter 5

I woke up to my phone ringing, Zach calling.

"Hello?" I said still half asleep.

"Hey sleepy head!" He yelled.

"What?" I asked sitting up.

"First it's 11:30 in the morning so how are you still asleep? And second how's you and Caden?"

He asked.

"First it's a Saturday morning That's how I'm still asleep and second were good. Sabrina talked to him and made him

understand." I replied.

"Good! Me, you, Caden, and his girlfriend, double date tonight, I'm paying." He said.

"Excuse me, did you ever think that I hae other plans?" I asked.

"Sorry, Maddianna do you have plans tonight?" He asked.

"Well no bu-"  He cut me off.

"Good well now you do." He said. "Love you." He added.

"Love you too." I said laughing before I hung up.

I got out of bed walking out of my room to Caden's room. I knocked on the door three timed before opening and pokimg my head in. Sabrina and him were sitting on his bed playing Mario kart.

"Can I come in?" I asked.

"Sure." Caden answered pausing the game. I walked in and sat on the edge of the bed with them.

"What are you guys doing tonight?" I asked.

"Nothing." Sabrina said looking at Caden.

"Well Zach wants to go on a double date. Is that OK with you guys."

"Sure but I'm paying." Caden cried.

"You two can take that up on your time."  I said raising my hands in the air.

"OK. Do you want to play Mario kart with us?" Caden said getting another Wii remote and wheel.

"Your on!" I yelled putting the remote in the wheel.

"Watch out Sabrina. Maddianna is bomb at Mario kart." Caden said restarting the game.

"Then your both on." She said choosing Princess peach as her character. I chose toad as always. I won every race.

I put on my black leggings with a long spaghetti strap light blue shirt. I put on my black wedges and grabbed my black leather jacket anddputted it on. I pulled my straightened hair out of my jacket before I grabbed my phone. I took one more look in the mirror to make sure that my make up looked OK. Caden and Sabrina were sitting on the couch as I walked downstairs.

"Why do you put on make up all of a sudden now?" Caden asked as I sat down next to Sabrina.

"There's my pretty bae!" Sabrina said fixing a piece of my hair.

"And here's my pretty bae." I said back fixing her eye shadow.

"I don't understand girls sometimes." Caden said.

"I'm gonna miss you this summer." I said to Sabrina putting a pout face on.

"No you won't!" Sabrina said with a smile.

"And why won't I?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Because I'm coming on the tour to!" She said putting on a big smile.

"Really!" I yelled matching her smile. She shook her head. We wrapped each other er up in a really right hug.

"I'll get the door." Caden said getting up. Sabrina and I ignored him still hugging each other.
