The Girl I Once Was

Chapter 8

"Knock! Knock!" Somebody whispered coming in my room.

"Who is it?" I said still half asleep.

"Zach." He said sitting on the end of my bed. I sat up and faced Zach.

"These are for you." Zach said handing my 3 bouquet of flowers and two balloons that say get well soon.

"Really?" I said looking at them.

"Yes! I had to get them for you!" He said putting them on my night stand.

"How are you feeling today?" He said checking his phone.

"A little bit better." I said getting pissed off.

"That's good." He said still on his phone.

"Yeah. So what are you doing today?" I wondered thinking that I could take him to lunch now that I haven't been throwing up for a while and I don't have a head ache anymore.

"Um taking Gabby to lunch." He said putting his phone in his pocket. "You can come if you want."

"No don't want to ruin yours and Gabby's time together." I said pissed off.

"OK." He said. "I have to go and meet her but I hope you feel better." He said kissing me on the forehead.

"Bye, love you!" I said smiling.

"Yeah, love you to." He said leaving.

I rose my eyebrows wondering what just happend.

"Caden!" I yelled getting up off my bed and walking to his room.

"Yeah What's up?" He said walking up the stairs.

"Can I stay home from school this week?" Unasked hugging him.

"Already ahead of you. I called mom and told her about your seizure feelings and she said to keep you home in till she gets home." He said smiling.

"OK! Thanks!"

"Hey you should come over." Zach said once I answer the phone.

"OK. Let me get dressed and I'll have Caden drop me off." I said.

"OK see you soon." He said hanging up.

"Love you to." I muttered to myself.

I got in the shower and threw my hair in a messy bun. I threw on a pair of Victoria secret yoga pants and a white v-neck t-shirt.

"Caden can you take me to Zach's?" I asked walking out of my room.

"Yeah." He said raising his eyebrows.

"What?" I asked.

"Your wearing make up but your hair is in a messy bun." He said touching my bun.

"Yes." I said.

I got into Cadens car him getting in the driver seat. We drove over to Zach's and I got out the car. I waved by to Caden before he drove off. I knocked on the door to Gabby opening it.

"Oh your here." She said rolling her eyes.

"Yes I'm here." I said.

"Ross your friend is here!" She yelled.

"Actually I'm here to see Zach." I said letting my self in.

"Oh Why?" She said acting dumb.
