The Girl I Once Was

Chapter 6

I woke not really realizing my surroundings at first. Then I took at closer look. I fell asleep at zach's house last night. Sabrina and Caden were laying on one couch and Zach and I were sleeping on the other. I guessed Zach gave me a pair of close to sleep in because I was wearing his signature style. Black sweat pants and a white T-shirt.

"So you fell asleep here last night?" Connor said with a smirk.

"Shut up!" I said throwing a pillow at him with a smile. I'm a little more comfortable around the boys now.

"So he finally gave you the promise ring." He said picking up the pillow and throwing back at me.

"Yeah." I said looking at the ring on my finger remembering everything that happens last night.

"You know That's real?" Connor said taking a sip of his coffee.

"Yeah he told me and I'm still pissed." I said fixing my hair into a pony tail.

"You know him. Always having to take the extra level."Connor said.

"Yeah I know." I whispered looking at Zach.

"Well it's a good thing that you two are dating. I won't have to listen to constant nagging of I like Maddianna but I don't know how to tell her. Or what if Maddianna hates me or doesn't feel the same way." He said laughing. I chuckled still looking at Zach.

"He said you have epilepsy." He said. In shook my head.

"How long has it been sense you had a seizure?" He asked.

"Um 6 years the doctors think that I grew out of it." I answered.

"Same with Zach." He said. I'm Happy Connor is actually talking to me. On Friday it was all waving and smiles.

"Well I have to get going. See you later." He said.

Zach turned which pushed me off the couch which made me scream.

"What the hell!" Caden screamed waking up.

"Sorry." Zach said starting to laugh. Caden realized what happens and joined Zach. After the two settled down Zach got up and picked me up running around the house the me on his arms.

"Your crazy!" I said laughing once he put me down.

"I know!" He said grabbing me by my waist and pulling me closer to him. I wrapped my hands around his neck and he gave me a deep kiss.

"Gross!" Sabrina yelled.

"Now you know I how feel when you kissed my brother in front of me the other day!" I said walking to her and laying on top of her.

"Get her off of me Zach!" Sabrina yelled. Zach ran up to me and picked me up by my waist and ran through the house again.

"I don't want to leave you." Zach cried as he opened the door for me at my house.

"Me neither but I have school tomorrow and you have recording with the boys and I have recording with Caden for the duet and his bonus track." I said kissing him.

"I know." He said kissing me to.

"I have to go. It's 9:30 and I still have to take a shower." I said grabbing my bag.

"Mmm!" Zach said smiling and kissing me.

"By!" I said letting for of him.

"By baby girl." He said walking to his side of the car.

"You really love him don't you?" Caden asked taking a sip of doctor pepper.

"Yeah!" I said smiling. I got a shower and fell asleep around 3:30 only because I was awake texting Zach all night.

"Hey bae!" I said running into Sabrina's arms at school.

"Hey!" She said hugging me back. "I had a fun weekend!"

"Me to!" I said looping my arm through hers. "I had my first kiss!" I said.

"SHUT UP!!!! Why didn't you tell?" She yelled.

"I was to in love at the moment!" I admitted going back tingliest when it happend. We talked about it all till the bell rang.

"Hey babe!" Zach said as I walked up to him in the school parking lot.

"Hey!" I said hugging him and giving him a Peck on his lips before I got into the front seat of his car.

"How old were you when you got your licence?" I asked.

  "Um 16." He answered.

   "How?" I asked.

  "My mom knows people." He said smiling. I rolled eyes just focusing on the rode.  We pulled up into zach's drive way and I left my book bag in his car getting out. He ran around the back of the car picking me up bridal style once he got to me. I just went with it knowing if I fought with him I would of lost. He put me down when once we entered.

  "I'll be right back." Zach said running up the stairs.

Nick came out of the kitchen.

  "Hey!" I said waving at him.

   "Hey!" He replied. "What are you doing not this weekend but the weekend after that?"

  "I'm not sure." I admitted.

  "Well Zach's best friend from California is coming to town in two weeks."He said. "If you get time you should come over and meet her."

I shook my putting my hands in my back pockets. Why didn't Zach tell me himself? I thought to stood the issue thinking I won't have to worry about it.

"I'm back!" Zach yelled coming down with a Teddy bear that said "I love you" on a heart a box of chocolate and a bouquet of pink and red roses.

"Here!" Zach said handing me all three.

"I never new that Valentine's day was in may!" I said raking the stuff of his hands.

"Well I thought off you when I saw them and I wanted to get them for you." Zach said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Thank-you!" I said hugging him. I put the stuff on the coffee table and hugged him again.

"Your welcome!" He said. He started to kiss me deeply and then picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He carried me over to the couch and layed me on my back getting on top of me and kissed me deeply more.

"Get a room!" Ross yelled walking into the house. Zach and I busted out into laughter.

"I love you!" I said to Zach getting out of his grip and ran to my front door.

"I'm home!" I yelled walking up to my room.

"Good! Sabrina's here and something's wrong but she won't tell me." Caden said walking out of his room.

"I'll talk to her." I said walking in my room to put my book bag down.

"Did you get your homework done?" Mom asked.

"Yeah." I answered.

  "OK. I have to get your laundry out of your room." My mom said as she entered my room.

"Did Zach give you the chocolate, flowers, and the I love you Teddy bear?" She asked raising her eyebrows and smiling.

"Yeah!" I said walking into Cadens room. Caden walked out closing the door behind him.

"What's wrong?" I asked hugging Sabrina.

"Um my dad told me that he has  another daughter." She said starting to cry.

"What's so bad about that?" I asked.

   "Um first she's five and I'm just found out today and he said he never wants me to meet her that he never wants to see me again." She said crying.

  "I wanted to tell Caden but I just wanted to talk to you about it first." She said putting her head on my shoulder. We sat there for five minutes then she said she'll tell Caden. I walked out the door signaling Caden to go in. I guess they were fine for the rest of the night cause neither one bothered me again.
