Blake POV

     A few weeks have passed since (Y/n) and I started at Beacon and it's been going well all things considered, (Y/n) and I have figured out a schedule for who takes care of Todd at night. Today though, Jaune Arc from Team JNPR is up against Cardin Winchester of Team CRDL, Jaune was knocked on his rear and was really getting frustrated, he got up and foolishly charged at Cardin, to which Cardin responded by sidestepping and hitting Jaune in the back. Jaune got back up and tried one more time, this time Cardin responded by blocking Jaune's sword strike.

Cardin: This is the part where you lose.

Jaune: Over my dead-

      He doesn't get to finish as Cardin knees Jaune in the stomach then uppercuts him with his mace. Jaune is knocked onto his back and Cardin lifts his weapon to deliver the final blow when the buzzer goes off signaling the end of the match.

Goodwitch: That's enough. You see students in a tournament style duel Mr. Arc's Aura flashing red would mean he is no longer fit to continue and the referee can call the match. Mr Arc it's been weeks now, try to refer to your scroll during battle, it'll help you determine when to attack and when you should move to a more defensive strategy. We wouldn't want to see get gobbled up by a Beowolf, no would we.

Cardin: *to himself* Speak for yourself. *walks away*

Goodwitch: Remember, the Vytal festival is only a few short weeks away. Students from other kingdoms will soon be arriving so be sure to be curteous.

        I saw Cardin shoot an devious grin in (Y/n)'s direction, this confused me until I realize (Y/n) has been showing up late to classes lately but he tells me not to worry about it. At lunch (Y/n) is holding Todd while we eat and Pyrrha asks Jaune.

Pyrrha: Are you okay?

Jaune: Huh? Oh, I'm fine.

Ruby: It just seems you're not okay.

Jaune: Guys. Really I'm fine. See? *sheepish thumbs up*

Pyrrha: Jaune, Cardin has been picking on you since the start of the year.

Jaune: Cardin Winchester? He just likes to joke around that's all.

Ava: He's a bully.

Jaune: Pfft. Please, name one time he's bullied me.

Ava: That time he made you drop your books.

Ruby: That time he activated your shield and you got stuck in the doorway.

Pyrrha: The time he stuffed you into a locker and launched you from the school.

Jaune: I didn't land that far from the school.

Pyrrha: You know if you need help, you only need to ask.

Jaune: Come on, he's not just a jerk to me, he's a jerk to everyone. Right, (Y/n).

(Y/n): Uhm...

Blake: What does that mean?

(Y/n): Nothing. *walks out*

After seeing (Y/n) walk out with Todd and seeing Cardin pick on Velvet from team CFVY, I turn to Ava and ask...

Blake: Ava, has Cardin been picking on (Y/n)?

Ava: Not when he's around us, but I don't know about when we have seperate classes.

     This worries me more, could bullying be why (Y/n) shows up late to classes and his grades are starting to slip? Only one way to find out.
