The task was simple. 

Get the cache. 

The cache was a small sphere, a little bit bigger than a marble, and it, according to Agent Forkle, had five Forgotten Secrets. 

The cache contained secrets that could destroy the world, and could NOT be given to the wrong hands, or else...absolute disaster. There was a total of 12 caches out there. 

The cache Sophie, Agent Moonlark, was supposed to retrieve from the Neverseen's heavily guarded 'base', was Fintan's cache. 

Fintan was a former Councillor, one of the twelve rulers of the Lost Cities. Each Councillor had a cache, and each cache held one to five Forgotten Secrets. The Lost Cities was where everyone lived together in peace and harmony...until the Neverseen showed up. They started fires. Destroyed buildings. Towns. Cities. Full of families. 

The Council tried to stop them, but the Neverseen were good. Really good. And they had a lot of recruits. And one of them was Fintan. Once they found out, it was too late. Fintan had already left the Council and dissapered long before the Council found out.

So that was when the Black Swan agency, where Sophie was a spy, was born. 

They worked, helping the Council capture the Neverseen, stop them from causing havoc, and yada yada. 

Sophie yawned. It was late at night. She wished she could have gone with her friends, who also happened to be agents. 

Agent Flame, aka Marella, was her best friend- well, tied with Dex, known no other than the famous Clockwise. 

Marella had a knack with fire, and whenever the Neverseen started fire? She would stop it. In the last and most recent showdown the Black Swan had had with the Neverseen, Fintan and Brant, known as Agent Balefire and Agent Everblaze, had began to burn and torture people. And, thank the heavens for Marella- she'd stopped it. 

Clockwise, aka Dex, was a tech-genius, and could work with any machine you gave him. He was currently trying to open the two caches that the Black Swan had gotten ahold of. Councillor Oralie and Councillor Kenric, who had died, which devastated Sophie, had both given the Black Swan their caches, knowing that it was for the best. 

Agent Shadow and Agent Hydro were the twins Tam and Linh. Tam was called Agent Shadow because he could basically melt into the shadows, and you wouldn't be able to see him. He was also the master with shadows, and when Sophie and her friends didn't have to go on missions, he'd make shadow puppets. Agent Hydro, also known as Linh, was the Black Swan's fastest swimmer, and knew how to filter water, and all the uses of water. She could even go in the water and swim without making a ripple or a splash.
