carson and i walked out the front door of the apartment complex towards the beach. it was still early out, so the sun was barely up in the sky.

"its so pretty!" i said gushing over the sight of the sun on the ocean.

"i know." he said smiling and looking at me. allison is soo pretty. i really like her, but i don't know if she feels the same way. i think i'll just ask amanda. she always gives great advice. carson thought to himself.

"why are you staring at me?" i asked when i saw carson looking at me.

"oh uhm no reason." carson said rubbing the back of his neck.

we started walking along the beach and talking about everything from our fave songs to stuff that makes us happy.

"i wonder if the water is cold." i said curiously as we came close to the water washing up onto the shore.

carson dragged me towards the water and splashed me as i said, "why don't you find out!"

i screamed from shock of the water against my skin.

i splashed carson back and said, "this means war!"

carson and i spent the next five minutes splashing each other with the water. i then managed to get away from carson's reach of splashing, so he started chasing me. i started running away from him cause i didn't want him to catch me. he was a lot faster than me so he caught up to me in no time.

when he got to me, he grabbed my waist making me fall back towsrds him. we almost fell over, but carson kept his balance while keeping his arms around my waist.

"ahhh you caught me." i said i between laughs.

carson and i then sat in the sand because we were both out of breath. you guys stayed there for hours just admiring the simplicity of the beach.

- hours after we left the apartment-

"we should probably get back to the apartment, so that manda and jac don't get worried." carson said.

"yeah i agree." i said getting up.

as we were walking back, carson intertwined his hand with mine. i blushed and smiled at him. we walked hand in hand all the way back to the apartment.
