Escaping The Blights

It had been a week and a half since the petrification ceremony and Luz was finally able to go back to school. She was a bit nervous but also excited to see everyone again, she walked inside and was immediately greeted by her friends

"Luz you're okay!" Gus said with a deeper voice and had also gotten taller "Woh Gus, did I uh miss a birthday or something?" "Witch puberty" Luz just shrugged it off for she still didn't understand how this world worked

Next thing that Luz knew she got a fair pie from Amity and was called to the principal office by Amity's mom. It all seemed to happen so fast and Amity just sat there not saying a word

'Take this as a lesson mittens, a blight always upholds their end of the deal" Odalia said trough the necklace. Amity looked down, she knew she couldn't do anything and it sucked

Before she knew it Luz and her friends were dragged out of school. Meanwhile Luz was not having it "How could this happen? We did nothing wrong! Also don't you guys think it's weird that Amity didn't say anything?"

"She probably didn't want to upset her mom" Willow suggested and Gus agreed. Luz looked down, she knew what it was like to not want to disappoint a parent

Soon Amity's parents walked out of the building "How dare you mess with my friends lives? What did we ever do to you?" "Luz was it? Don't take this personal, I actually admire your tenacity we're just trying to teach our daughter a lesson in business"

"How does this teach anything? We're still gonna be friends with her, I'm calling applesauce on this business baloney" Odalia stared at the human for a second before saying "Your human language is hard to understand but I get the point, come by my house later and I'm sure we can come to an agreement" she then handed Luz her card before walking away

Luz looked at the card wondering if she should go or not "Luz I'm sorry about what happened back there" A voice said behind her, she turned around and it was Amity. "I was a coward but my mom" "I get, you're afraid of her but I'm not and I need you to take me to her, she seemed opened to talk things through" Amity shook her head "No Luz you don't have to do that" "Yes I do, Will you help me please?" Luz asked holding one of Amity's books

"I- I can't, I have to go.." Amity said grabbing her things and leaving

*Time Skip*

Against Amity's wishes Luz took the deal with her parents which almost got her killed. That was until Amity showed up "Hey! Step away from my Luz!" Luz looked up to see Amity protecting her "Amity?" Amity jumped down and used her magic to push the monster back. "Amity Blight you are in so much" Odalia said through the necklace but was interrupted when Amity crushed it

"Luz are you okay?" Luz blushed and nodded "Look out!" Amity was slowly losing her grip on the monster but stayed strong "Amity stay away from the human!" "No you're gonna listen to me for once, let my friends back into hexside or I'm gonna tear this thing apart"

"Fine whatever it's a deal" Amity let go of the monster as it smashed both her and Luz to the ground, luckily no one got hurt

*Time Skip*

Luz finally went home and spent the rest of the night thinking about Amity
