The three of you enter the bullpen and Voight walks over to Jay's desk.
"Call up patrol." Voight says and then turns to the rest of the room. "Once you're done with your case review, you can head home." His voice trails off as he looks over at you.
Jay calls Platt and within a few minutes 2 patrol officers are walking up the stairs. Jay leads them to the cage and returns shortly.
You flip open the folder and start to fill out the seemingly endless pages of the review. The room clears out as the day turns into night.
Jay walks into Voight's office with a folder in his hand, shutting the door behind him and sitting down across from Hank. You can't quite make out what they are saying but presume it's about the case and finish your work.
Twenty minutes fly by as you sign the bottom of the paper and put all the pages back into the file. You stand up and walk over to Voight's office door and knock on it. Hank makes his way over to the door and opens it.
"Hey you." He says as a smile drags across his face.
"I'm finished." You say, handing him the file.
"Actually I need to talk to you." Voight says, opening the door wider and letting you step inside.
"Jay, we will continue this conversation tomorrow, alright?" Hank says. Jay nods and quickly walks out of the room and closes the door behind him.
"What's up?" You ask.
"I need to know what actually happened at the party store." He says, sitting down and folding his arms.
"You mean to tell me that Kim didn't tell you everything you wanted to hear?" You ask, sitting down across from him.
"Be serious." He orders. You sit up in the chair and lightly clear your throat.
"Burgess and I entered the store, Stacks left out the front and I followed her out, Kim went out the back entrance and then–" Voight cuts you off.
"I know that." He says.
"Excuse me for asking, but what do you want to know?" You ask.
"Come on y/n. I had to read your Med file for my review. Will wrote that you were hit in your shoulder, but Kim says that it was on the inside of your chest. Now why would he lie?" Voight's voice gets angrier. "Y'understand that this isn't some game, right? This is a matter of you dying and a guilty woman going free because you messed up." He sits forward.
"Sargent." You interrupt him.
"I'm not finished." He hollers. "If you messed up we can fix it. You just have to start being honest. If not and I turn in this case as is, some asshole from Ivory Tower is going to read into it. FInd out that it's a lie." Voight takes a breath.
