10: JAEMIN THE LUNATIC

Jeno and Jisung stood completely still at the bottom of the staircase, the sight in front of them turned both of their blood cold and neither of them could move an inch.

There was a black haired boy throwing punches at one of those.. Creatures, while a boy with brown and blonde two toned hair leaned up against a wall, clutching his arm with his hand tightly while blood seeped through his fingers. Jeno made the first move and ran towards where the smaller boy was and carefully helped him stand up, pulling him further away from the creature and other male.

After seeing Jeno help the injured boy, Jisung took a deep breath before running towards the other two. The creature on the ground was awfully disturbing, it looked more like the type of demons you'd see in scary movies. He took his foot back and then swung it forward, kicking the creature right in the side of the head. It let out an awful snarling noise before rolling out from the other boys grasp. Jisung took the opportunity to grab the black haired boys arm and take off running with him.

Jeno, who was trying to calm the two-toned haired boy down took note of the situation and picked him up cradle style, running after the two while the creature was beginning to get up.

"I WASN'T DONE WITH THAT BITCH!" The black haired yelled in anger, trying to pull his arm from Jisungs grasp but the youngers grip was too tight. "LET ME GO!"

"We have to leave!" Jisung yelled in response, being sick of the other already. "You saw how strong that creature was, you can't take it. We have to get to the basement!"

The boy clicked his tongue before wiggling from Jisungs grasp and running ahead of him, Jisung speeding up afterwards, not wanting to be at the back when the creature was close to running at full speed towards them.

The group of four made it down the last flight of stairs and looked around for a door. "There!" Jisung yelled and the other two followed after him, Jeno keeping an eye on the creature that was closing in. "Fuck."

"What?" Jeno stepped forward, "Open the door, what are you doing?!"

"It's locked!"

"Shit," Jeno hissed, bringing the boy in his arms towards Jisung who stared at him with a raised brow. "Hold him for a second." After hearing that, Jisung nodded and took hold of the slim male, feeling bad for him. He must be in so much pain right now.

Jeno looked over to see the raven haired male guarding where they all stood, waiting for the creature to arrive. While making sure they were completely safe, Jeno raised his fist to the door and threw a punch, hopefully loud enough that the three boys down there would hear them.

"FINALLY IT'S HERE!" The raven haired yelled like a maniac, Jisung was truthfully scared of him, why was he so excited to see one of those creatures? He certainly wouldn't win in a one-on-one battle.

The psychopathic male jumped when the creature came hurtling towards him and sent a kick to his stomach, Jisung standing in vain the entire time while holding the injured boy close to his chest, how was he so confident in fighting this thing and how has he actually gotten the creature damaged quite a lot?

"I think they're coming, I hear footsteps," Jeno called from the door, "Tell that dude to distract that thing."

Jisung nodded and looked straight towards the fight. "Hey, lunatic, distract that thing! We need to get into the basement!"

The boy nodded in response and had a smirk on his face before running in the opposite direction, Jisungs jaw dropping. Was he trying to get killed? He could get lost and then run into more of those creatures.

The basement door opened and they saw an unfamiliar worried face who pulled Jeno inside, Jisung hurried inside after and just as the unfamiliar boy was about to shut the door, a body slammed into it and was sent tumbling down the stairs. Ouch.

"SHUT THE DOOR, IT'S COMING!" The crazed male shouted from the bottom of the steps, his body littered in bruises and small cuts.

The boy nodded and slammed the door shut, locking it. "Hurry down, the other two are already down there."

Jisung and Jeno nodded before going down the steps. Jeno was behind Jisung and the unfamiliar looking boy and he stopped at the bottom, seeing the weird boy still lying on the floor, hand resting on his chest as he was trying to catch his breath. "Hey, you okay?"

"All.. Good," he said, taking a deep breath in between his words. After a couple seconds, he raised his hand up and a smile replaced his tired face. "I'm Jaemin!"

"Jeno," he nodded in response. "Hey, thanks a lot for your help. It's good to have someone like you with us."

"No problem," Jaemins smile never left his face and he was pulled up off the ground by Jeno, letting out a groan and putting his hand back over his rib cage.

Jeno took note of how damaged the other boy was and he helped support his weight so they could get back over to everyone else. "Take it easy from now on, don't do risky things like that. You could have gotten into some serious trouble."

"That stupid ass creature hurt Renjun, I wanted to kill it but it was too strong," Jaemin huffed as he tiredly leaned his head on Jenos shoulder. "I'll kill it if I ever see it again, I'm not letting it get away."

"You sure it won't be the other way around?"

"I'm sure."
