"Letter A."

"Letter A, hm? Is that final? Do you wish to choose Letter A or will you change your mind? Last chance."

"We would like to choose Letter A," Mark says, anticipating the results. His skin was turning pale and he felt goosebumps over his entire body, this really would be his fault if Chenle died but they needed to take the chance, if not then Chenle would have a greater chance of dying.

"Very well. I'll leave you three now, goodbye."

"Goodbye?! Do we not get to know if Chenle is going to be okay?" Donghyuck yells out. They told the monster the letter so why are they not getting the result?

No response. Great. "Well what now," Donghyuck groans, covering his face with his hands. Tears were streaming down his face by this point, all of their faces. Knowing that all their other friends have already met their fate and theirs is soon to come really hurts, Donghyuck feeling like he was choking on air. It was hard to breath. He wasn't sure if he could carry on any longer.

"Calm down, it's alright," Mark placed a hand on his shoulder, rubbing it soothingly, his hand slowly moving to the brown haired males back and continuing in soothing patterns.

"It isn't alright, Mark. All our friends have already died and we're next! There is no escape. This whole thing was a lie."

Jeno watched from the side, leaning on the wall with his arms crossed. His heart was aching terribly and he now hung his head down low so the other two wouldn't notice his tears- Not that they would anyway because of their current bickering. Renjun and Jaemin were really dead, it was true. Jeno couldn't lie when saying he felt a connection with them.. He didn't know the two boys for too long but they had their shares of laughs and heartfelt moments and knowing that they were no longer here, walking this earth really hurt Jeno.

"Your right," Mark couldn't deny it anymore. There really was no way out. There wasn't a secret that they needed to unfold, this mansion completely trapped them in. Mark needed to stop playing the leader role and admit to the truth, they were going to die. "But we should die trying, right?"

"Trying what?" Donghyuck slid down the wall and brung his legs to his chest, wrapping his arms around them and burrowing his face in his knees. "There's no use. This monster wants us to try so it would be faster for us to die."

"And if we sit here and do jack shit then who knows what will happen," Mark says. "The thing in control of this could trap us in this room and set fire to it, explode it like they did to Renjun and Jaemin, god knows."

"Fine," the other boy pulled himself up, brushing his pants off and crossing his arms, looking away with a pout. "I'll go first."

"Jeno come on," Mark grabbed the miserable boys wrist and pulled him out of the room, following after the youngest boy out of the three. Marks mind pondering to whether Chenle would come back to them.

"I know this isn't smart due to the events from earlier, but.. I say we split up," Mark says.

"Fine with me. I'm going to die even if i'm with both of you," Donghyuck already trudged off, rounding a corner and going in direction of the basement.

Mark and Jeno shared a glance, an emotionless one, before Jeno turned to walk in the other direction to where Donghyuck went, Mark thinking of which way he should go.

"Wonder where all those creatures went, I haven't seen them since the incident," Jeno mumbled, opening and closing draws in the kitchen. The creature that Jisung killed here in the kitchen was gone too, no traces of blood left on the floor. He would certainly find it weird in any other situation but not now.

Jeno looked over to the pantry and began walking over to it, grabbing the handle and pulling it open, his eyes widening at the shelves of the walk in pantry filled with food. Delicious food. "No way," he gasped, stepping in and grabbing some of the food off the shelves, examining it with his squinted eyes. "Couldn't be poisonous, it's all packaged up.."

The Samoyed looking boy was contemplating whether he should eat some or not. If it is poisoned it would be a less painful way of dying than any other unthinkable way the monsters of this house would decide, so there was really nothing he could lose. "Well, don't mind if I do," Jeno grinned, ripping open the packet of cookies and popping one in his mouth.

Yum.

Though Jeno started hearing rushed footsteps and he turned around to the pantry door only for it to be slammed shut, his last view being the face of the person doing this. "Seriously, this isn't funny. It's dark in here so let me out. I'm tired of this shit."

Only a dark, sinister laugh was heard from the other side of the pantry door. It could easily be mistaken for the laugh of a crazed psychopath.

"W-Wha," Jeno stumbled back when a fire began lighting the small room of the pantry, this isn't the non painful death he was wishing for. "WHAT THE HELL, IS THIS SOME SICK JOKE? OPEN THE DOOR NOW!"

Jeno didn't want to get too close to the pantry door because that's where the fire was coming from so he inched far against the back shelves, groaning at the heat being poured on his skin.

"I really enjoyed playing with you, Jeno. I'll miss you a lot! Just relax and think of good things."

"YOU PSYCHOPATH, I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!" Jeno yelled out in between cries, the fire had reached his feet and he was letting out loud howls and screeches, the feeling of the fire ripping at his skin was nothing close to pleasant.

"I wish I could see this for myself, too bad i'm being blocked by a door," the boy from the other side of the door pouted, scrunching his nose at the smell of burning flesh. "Already?"

Jeno couldn't take it. He couldn't let it slowly burn him bit by but. This was the end, there was no way out.

The last thing the boy thought about was his home. His mother and father, his mother's delicious home cooked meals and his fathers loud obnoxious laughter. He never got to say goodbye, he didn't get to say goodbye to anyone. Not Renjun or Jaemin either.

Jeno let go of the shelf and let his body fall forward and be engulfed by the fire, his flesh crisping away, body melting apart. Truly horrid. Not something you'd like to be in or come across.

"Another one down," the male chuckled after no longer hearing the screams of Jeno.

He put out the fire and grimaced at the remains on the floor, shutting the pantry door and walking off, changing his expression back to normal as if he hadn't just killed someone.

Not suspicious. Nothing suspicious at all.
