"you know you gotta tell jungwon soon, right?" jake muttered as he and jay sat on jake's room. it had been a two weeks since his parents told him he was leaving soon, and the blond wasn't ready to tell jungwon about it yet.

jay stared at his phone blankly, rejecting the bag of chips jake offered. "i know," he sighed, looking up at jake with a frown, "i still want to spend more time with him but i'm already leaving in five days."

jake patted his shoulder in a comforting manner. "the sooner you tell him, the more he wouldn't get hurt and sad when you leave."

"when will i ever see him after moving out?" jay sadly uttered. "all my life, my parents reminded me that when i go study about how to run the company, i'm not going to enjoy it since i'll be away from all those social stuff and only focus on studying.. heck! they might even send me away to somewhere secluded."

"i'm sorry," jake frowned. he hated seeing his dear friend sad, and knowing how close jay was to jungwon will really hurt the both of them. "when do you plan on letting him know?"

"i'm.. i'm not sure. i'm scared. what if he'll avoid me after i tell him? what if he'll hate me?"

"he won't. jungwon loves you, hyung," jake softly said, "and he doesn't have to say it aloud."

the next day after jay's visit to jake, it was finally a wednesday evening. jay stuffed his hands in his pockets as he took a breather; walking around the streets of seoul, away from his family.

he didn't know where he was going, he just let his feet take him anywhere to get his thoughts off his mind. jungwon's house was nearby, but he didn't want to stop by to see the latter's family yet.

he stopped in front of a building, looking up at the sign.

'JJK TAEKWONDO GYM' was written on the sign. he nibbled his lip nervously and took a peek on the window to see a group of teenagers practicing kicks in the air, most of them wearing blue, red, brown, and black belts. he caught a glimpse of a familiar dark-haired boy wearing his dobok.

jungwon just finished reviewing his forms when his eyes caught with a specific blond's. a smile lit up on his face and waved, running towards the door to greet jay. "hyung!" jungwon smiled widely, "what brings you here?"

jay smiled and ruffled jungwon's hair that was slightly damp due to his sweat. jungwon had his cheeks slightly flushed due to the intense workout, his hair messy and sweat dripping on his face and neck. his upper dobok exposed his collarbones.

"hm, i was walking around and this place somehow got me drawn. well, i want to get ice cream with you, honestly. when's your training ending?"

"ah, it already ended," he said and pointed to his taekwondo-mates, "they're just here to practice other stuff. i wanna get ice cream with you too, hyung! please gimme a sec!"

jay chuckled and nodded his head. jungwon rushed back to his gym to grab the bag for his gear, running back to jay. he pulled jay to an empty corridor, making jay confused by his actions.

jungwon untied his black belt and quickly took his upper dobok off. jay's eyes widened as his gaze ripped away from jungwon, a blush playing on his cheeks. "yah! w-why are you changing in front of me?" he stuttered, covering his flushed cheeks with his arm.

the younger giggled loudly as he grabbed a new t-shirt from his bag. jay took another glance of jungwon and looked away again shyly.

"you're toned," jay bluntly muttered, his cheeks burning harder. jungwon laughed out loud and changed into the shirt, grabbing his gear bag and slung it over his shoulder.

"you're so cute when you're flustered, hyung," jungwon said, holding onto jay's hand, a habit of his.

"aish," jay grumbled, making jungwon giggle. the two walked to jungwon's house and jungwon placed his taekwondo gear bag inside.

"mom! i'm gonna go eat ice cream with jay!"

"alright! don't go home too late," mrs. yang said and glanced at the doorframe. "take care of my son, jay-ah! stay safe, both of you."

"yeah~," jungwon chuckled and closed the door.

"we're back here," jungwon's eyes sparkled as they entered the ice cream parlour. "it's been a while since i've went here with you."

"yeah," jay chuckled, his hand still holding jungwon's. "let's go order together and sit by our usual table."

"mhm!"

the two ended up ordering the same ice cream flavors they ordered the first time they went to the ice cream parlour rougher. cookies and cream for jay, and strawberry for jungwon. after sitting down, jay stared at jungwon who was busy eating his strawberry ice cream.

"jungwon-ah," jay muttered, making jungwon look up from his ice cream and then at jay, his eyebrows raised in curiosity.

"hm?"

"i have something to tell you," jay mumbled, his heart aching slightly when jungwon smiled at him.

"mm, what is it, hyung?" jungwon asked.

"i..," he sighed. "i'm lea-"

"ah, hold on, hyung," jungwon cut him off as his phone rang. he placed the phone on his ear, "eo, sunoo, what's up?"

jungwon's eyebrows furrowed and clicked his tongue, "aish, riki!! stop calling me on sunoo's phone unless you have something important to say," he scoffed, "i'm hanging up. bye," he ended the phone call and glanced at jay.

"what was that, hyung?"

jay slightly smiled and shook his head, "ah, it was nothing."
