On the Stray Kids ship...
Bang Chan has been laying in his room ever since Aurora had left. At first, she thought maybe she had run off somewhere, but then a piece of evidence was found.
A few weeks ago...
The night before their wedding when Aurora was captured. Bang Chan thought she was sleeping, so he pretended to sleep. He couldn't sleep because of the guilt he carried in his heart. He loved Aurora, but he hated the feeling of lying to her.
But he didn't care, because ATEEZ lied to her first. The only other thing that hurt him, was that not all 8 of his brothers could make it. He remembers from the time, when he sent his brother out to spy on ATEEZ and maybe find out where the treasure could be hiding.
But he never saw him again... only to realize that his brother had been killed by his enemy, and he was willing to get revenge.
The next morning, Bang Chan woke up with the happiest feeling in the world. When he turned around, he noticed that half the blanket was open. He thought that maybe she was getting ready. He shook it all off and ran towards the living room. His smile quickly disappeared when he saw his members gathered around the couch.
Their hands were near their mouths and their legs were shaking. Bang Chan sat beside the little fox and his heart broke watching him cry.
"Guys, w-what happened?" Chan asked hesitantly. Noticing all 7 members around him, it made him question :
"Where's Aurora?" a squirrel looking member stood up and slowly started approaching Chan with a sad look on his face. Chan stood too and stood face to face with the squirrel. His face was full of worry, but his worry, led to shock, and his shock, led to sadness and tears. The squirrel pulled out a bracelet belonging to the girl. He took it into his hand and looked at it carefully. He saw two locks of hair on the bracelet.
One he could tell belonged to Aurora, but the other lock was black. He didn't understand, yet he couldn't process anything seeing this shocking turn of events.
"She's gone, Hyung. I think they found her." the boy said, making Chan's legs weak and he dropped to his knees. He pounded his hand on the wooden floor harder and harder and kept repeating the words "I can't believe it!" and "It's not true!"
The members around him cried and their hearts broke. One of them picked him up and held him into a tight hug, letting Chan cry into his chest.
Today was supposed to be the happiest day of his life, and now it was all ruined. Chan stormed off to his room and slammed the door shut. He faced his back to the wooden door and sank to the floor. More tears spilled out of his eyes as he opened his hand and looked at the bracelet with the two locks of hair on it.
The bracelet still had Aurora's sweet scent. As he looked at the other strand of hair and hesitantly picked it up, until it hit him...
The strand of hair also had a familiar scent, but one that he loathed. He growled and clenched his fist with the hair trapped inside it. He knew whom it had belonged to...
The present...
A knock was heard on Chan's door. It wasn't the first time a member had tried to come and comfort him. They would always leave food outside his door, since they thought that he may not have wanted to come out. The door slowly creaked open making Chan turn his head to the person entering.
"Hi, Lee Know," he said with a smile on his face, "anything new?"
"I have good news… and bad news." he slowly walked up to Chan as he sat down on his bed sitting next to him, but he didn't face him because he fiddled nervously with his fingers staring at the ground.
"The good news is… that our predictions were right. Aurora is living with them."
Bang Chan had a happy, but questionable look on his face.
"Although… she got her memory back. And if she got her memory back that means…"
"That she's now back with that bastard she was with in the first place…"
"And not only is she now back together with him… but they're engaged."
Chan looked at him in shock, trying not to show any emotion. He sighed deeply and frustratedly. As happy as he was to hear that he knew where Aurora was, he was angry by the fact that Aurora got her memory back, and that she won't love him anymore.
"I'll give you some time alone." Lee Know said and walked out of the room. Bang Chan lay back down on his bed and opened his drawer on his bedside table; pulling out a framed photo, of him and Aurora happily smiling. But the photo made him notice something.
Something he never thought could be true…
