Opened my eyes in complete darkness... There was no depth that I could sense. Was I outside? As my eyes slowly adapted to the dark, I saw glimpses of leaves above me. I was at the forest, but where were the stars? I moved my head a little more. I wasn't just laying on the ground, I was below the surface. I could feel my heart racing but I was weirdly calm, just too calm.

I stood up. The Werecat was right ahead of me closing the other graves, we looked at each other. It didn't say or do anything. It just turned behind and started walking away. I climbed out of the grave, looked at the tombstone. It said, Martin Burgess, July 5. It was only a few weeks from now. There wasn't anything else on it.

I looked at the Werecat again. Almost as if it wanted to guide me somewhere, it just waited for me to follow him closely. With the same weird calmness and silence, I walked behind him. He was only walking as fast as I was, thus the distance between us was staying the same no matter how I tried walk near him. I wasn't trying hard, though. I was very passive. I was just curious.

A few trees came between us. This made me lose track of the Werecat for a few seconds. Then I could see it again. But this time in the distance between us, there was a river. The werecat looked at me for a few seconds, waiting across... Then turned behind again and continued walking. I couldn't let it get away, I just jumped into the mighty river.

The water came only upto my waist, but something was off. It was too thick. I took a couple hard steps. Only then, I saw that the river was staining my shirt. It wasn't water. It was blood. I was crying and screaming desperately, talking but not saying anything at all, so so blurry. Like a swamp, the blood river started to take me in. I didn't move at all. I just stayed there and accepted my faith. And as I sank slowly and slowly...

I WOKE UP!

Oh! I was out of breath waking up from a nightmare. It was the kind of dream that shakes a person, so as I felt. I didn't have anything to do about it, it just makes one question and I was standing there, thinking nothing over having too much to think. I just went to my kitchen instead and drank a tall glass of water. In silence of the night, in addition to the exaggerated sounds of kitchen appliances, I thought I heard a clack behind the basement door. It creeped the already-shaken me, so I ran back to my bedroom and went straight to bed.

Before sleeping back, I checked the name 'Martin Burgess' on Instagram, there wasn't an account from Felt Beach I could tell. I left my phone to my nightstand and turned back to sleep. I slept the rest of the night without a dream, good or bad.

A few hours later, the sun was up and so was I. I yawned & stretched. I checked on my notifications to find out, after our conversation yesterday, Jen had opened a group chat for us five to actively stay in touch. I was quite happy with the turn of our conversation. But, I was still a little stiff from the night.

I surfed online to see what local newspapers had to say, Claire's dissappearance was still the biggest concern and yet, majority of town still believed that she ran away. It was making me mad that people werent taking these seriously but I was getting much more relaxed each day as no new tragedy was coming up. The passive days were over, now it was the time that we've expected: the fowl, or if I were to state openly: time to solve mystery.

I got out of my bed and went downstairs. Patricia was wiping the kitchen counters. She saw me coming down and said "Good morning girly, do you want your breakfast now?" I walked closer into the kitchen and answered her "No, I'd just wait for my parents." She laughed at me: "Oh take me to the day my boyfriend dumped me, so I could dump him first. Cuz apparently you can time travel." I looked at her with a blank stare, she ... her eyes and said "They ALREADY had their breakfast. They are off to work." Ahh! I laughed "Ohh I totally forgot about that."
