It had only been two days since Tank had abruptly walked away from whatever had just been starting between us.

Love.

That was what had been starting between us. That's how it would have ended, us in love and me as his old lady. That's how I'd wanted it to end. Sleeping wrapped in his arms had been like nothing I'd ever felt. Hawk and I had never slept in the same bed. We had sex and then one of us left. Before Hawk, I'd had one boyfriend. We'd been young, both still living at home so sleep overs were rare. Tank was the first person who had held me for the span of more than a few minutes. He'd slept pressed against me right up until his nightmare started.

It was an accident.

Tank would never put his hands on me; it wasn't in his nature. None of the guys in the club would hit a woman. That's not who they were.

But I'd lost him anyways.

Standing behind the bar, I wondered absentmindedly why none of the higher ranks were in the bar. It seemed like something was brewing, and not even the old ladies were talking about it. And they knew everything- at least Rachel, Charlie, and Carrie did. Their men could not keep anything from them.

It was probably nothing then, a new alliance, a new business partner, a new mission, but one that the didn't have all the details on yet.

The soul suckers were sitting in the corner, scantily clad and waiting for whoever to come back. The soul suckers' numbers had been dwindling steadily. After Nathan claimed Rachel, and Rain disappeared, a few of them bailed. They'd been hoping to be claimed by Hawk and Bender if Rain was claimed. They hadn't been.

Staring at them I tried to figure out which one I wished Tank would take to his room. Was that a crazy thing to wish for? Absolutely. But it would make it so much easier on me if he moved on. I could let him go then. But the past two days, I've caught him staring at me countless times. And I only caught him because I was staring at him too. How could I not?

It took me so long to see what was right in front of me. When I looked back on all of our interactions, his feelings for me were clear as day. The slight touches, letting me ride on his bike, the soft smiles and winks.

One of my favorite memories was when he'd told me about how some of the brother's got their road names.

*Flashback*

"Come on, just tell me," I said, bumping my shoulder into his while we sat with our feet hanging off the dock. Tank's hit the water, but mine didn't.

"It's not a secret; you could ask anyone and they'd tell you."

"But I'm asking you."

"Fine," he said shaking his head at me. "Bubbles had wanted to have a threesome with two of the soul suckers. When he was a prospect he'd made it clear that his first act as a brother was to have a threesome."

"Like that's not something all of you haven't had with two of them," I snorted. "There's always group sex going on in the clubhouse."

"Yes, but he wanted it in his room, private, in front of nobody."

"Did he get it?" I asked.

"He did. And that's how he got his road name. Two of the soul suckers wanted to be the power puff girls for Halloween. Coincidentally, Halloween fell on the same night as Bubbles' patch party. These two soul suckers didn't have a third to be bubbles. There was a redhead to be Blossom and a brunette to be Buttercup, but they didn't have anybody blonde to be Bubbles."
