I don't know how but I woke up in the forest. I saw no sign of the Adler siblings, Jaelynn or Bellamy anywhere. I rubbed my head as I stood up straight. The sky was still dark but it seemed as if I couldn't control the weather. Then I heard murmurs coming my way. I ran and hid behind a nearby tree. "That Zogark was a fool! I knew we shouldn't have trusted him!" complained a woman. I took a sneak peek and saw that the woman had a blonde pixie cut, a scar across her cheek and she wore all black. She was standing next to a man. He had short brunette hair, a scar going across his eye and a nicely trimmed beard. He also wore all black but he looked like he had a little bit of armoury. The man grunted. "Why does the Dark lord trust such imbeciles for a task so complex?" The man looked around. I hid behind the tree again, hoping that he wouldn't see me. "And how can they be defeated by puny teenagers? I would've snapped them a in half if I was there," the woman said. I scrunched my nose then peeked again at the woman. She was a bit bulky, I actually believed that she would've snapped us in half and skinned us to make herself a human-skinned coat. Which would be disgusting. "Apparently, the one who defeated Masoumeh actually absorbed all her powers before she killed her," said the man, taking out something that looked like a map. The woman rolled her eyes. "Still could take her on," she said. "We don't have enough time. We have to get there before-," , "Hush, woman! I'm trying to think," the man looked in my direction, as if he could see me. I hid behind the tree once again. My breathing started to get louder. "Let's leave the trolls and go find this dumb bird," the woman grunted. "Hold on now, Algas. No matter how dumb those bafoons were, we still need to find the boy because this isn't going to work!" He said as he threw the map aside. "After we get the boy, can we kill the rest of them?" Algas asked with such glee. The man smirked and nodded. "But don't kill the girl just yet," he said as he turned to my direction once again. "The lord said he had something special in store for her. Hello, Blaire Levesque."

I woke up, gasping for air. I hated how everytime I had a nightmare, I sweated like a pig. "Calm down. We're here," I turned around and saw Bellamy kneeling besides me. I looked around my surroundings. I was at the cabin. Dad's cabin. I started to calm down and my breathing was better. I sighed then leaned on Bellamy for support. He first stiffened then wrapped his arms around me. "It's okay. We all made it," he whispered. I stood upright again. "Where are the others?" I asked, looking around for them. "Blaire, it's fine. They're all in the kitchen. I was told to look after you," Bellamy said. "Oh," was all I could muster. "Can you stand up?" Bellamy asked. I tried standing up but my legs failed me each time. Bellamy felt sympathy for me then wrapped one arm under my knees and the other on my back for support and picked me up bridal style. It took me to a bedroom and placed me on the bed. He then sat at the corner of the bed. "Are you okay?" he asked, looking at me with those ghostly eyes that his a lot of secrets behind. I nodded and looked out. It was starting to get dark. "What about-," I started but Bellamy completed my sentence. "Camp? I don't know what Olivia did. She just said 'Imma put in a good word with the directors.' Don't know what that means," Bellamy pursed his lips as he shrugged. I giggled at the sight of cuteness. "Bellamy, are you a guardian?" I asked. His face fell at the question. "Yeah," was all he said. "Why do you sound sad?" I asked again. "It's just that...," he started, thinking of the words he was going to use but decided to not tell me. "It's nothing. I'm glad to be a guardian," he said, forcing a smile when he looked in my direction. "Bell, you can tell me anything," I said. Bellamy just chuckled. "Seriously? Bell?" he chuckled again. I started laughing. "It's just that, I don't like putting Jaelynn in trouble. She thinks this is all fun and games. Until someone gets hurt," he said, running his fingers through his hair. I pursed my lips and got closer to Bellamy. "But no one will get hurt. You're there to protect her. And so are we," I said, smiling at Bellamy. He flashed a smile too. "When did I pass out?" I asked, getting curious. "While we were finding our way here," he said. I then thought about the dream. Every dream I had, they always spoke of a boy who knew the way to find some ancient entity. "Bellamy, do you know Algas?" I asked. It was a miracle that I actually remembered her name. Bellamy's eyes went wide for a minute. "How did you-," he got interrupted by someone opening the door. "Hey guys...," Liam raised a brow at the sight. I looked at the way Bellamy and I were sitting. I didn't even notice how close I got to Bellamy. I cleared my throat and moved away. "Everything good?" I asked. He nodded. "You Dad wants to see us downstairs," he said, looking at Bellamy in a weird way before closing the door. Bellamy cleared his throat. "Need help off the bed?" Bellamy asked. I laughed softly. "I think I can cope," I said. Bellamy got up and stretched. He smiled at me again. "I guess I'll meet you in the kitchen," he said as he exited the room. I stayed there for a while trying to collect my thoughts. I needed to find out who are those people and who is their 'Dark lord'.

I ran to the kitchen and found everyone standing around the table. "Hey kiddo. You good?" Dad asked. I nodded. I was honestly starting to get tired of people asking me that but since Dad asked, I didn't mind much. "Where's Jaelynn?" I asked. "She's asleep," Olivia answered. Her hair was covering her left eye. I hadn't notice how long her hair had grown since I first met her. "So you said Zogark was there?" Dad asked Liam. Liam nodded grimly. "And Blaire heard Masoumeh's voice?" He asked. I opened my eyes widely and glared at Liam. "Liam! What happened to not letting him worry?" I asked. He shrugged. "He had to know, Blaire," he said. I was shocked. It's been a while since he said my full name. Bellamy cleared his throat. "Any idea as to what's going on?" Dad asked. Everyone but Bellamy shrugged. "Bellamy," I said and he looked at me with sorrow in his eyes. "What's going on?" Olivia placed her hands on the table. "I-I don't know if I'm right," Bellamy said. "Well just tell us and we'll correct you," Liam said with an unsatisfied expression on his face. Olivia looked like she was about to take out her dagger. I stepped closer to Bellamy. "Just tell us. You can trust us," I said. Bellamy sighed. "I was instructed to come here and asked Blaire to help me," he said. Dad raised a brow. "Help you with what?" He asked. "Finding Arcturus," he mumbled. Liam scoffed. "No one knows where he is. His location keeps on changing over the years," Liam said, folding his arms. "But I do," Bellamy said. "So you're the boy they keep talking about," I said. Everyone gave me a confused expression so I decided to tell them about the dream I've been having lately, including the recent one. But I didn't tell them about the Dark lord. "So you decided not to tell us?" Liam asked, feeling very offended. "I couldn't. Not until I fully understood what they meant," I cried out. "Bellamy, how did you find the location?" Olivia asked. "I can't say," Bellamy said. "Who are these people and why are they after you?" I asked. "I can't say," he said again. "How did you get into contact with these people?" Dad asked. And the answer was, yep you guessed it, "I can't say." Liam got annoyed and bashed his fists on the table. "Well what can you say?" Liam scolded. "Liam," I called. "We don't have anything to work with and some lunatics are trying to kill us for some reason we don't know but he does!" He pointed at Bellamy. I gently placed my hand on his and rubbed circles on his knuckles. He calmed down a bit. "All I know is that we don't have any time," Bellamy said. "We?" Liam asked. "Obviously he has to come with us since he knows the location," Olivia pointed out. "We get there and do what?" He asked. "All we have to do is to stop them from taking the Phoenix," I said. "But they'll need to get him," Liam gestured to Bellamy. "There are other ways to find the location. It's just a matter of time till they find them," Bellamy said. "So, another quest?" I asked. Maybe a little too excitedly. "Blaire, this isn't a game," Liam said. "Oh come on. I know how to take care of myself," I said with a smirk dancing on my lips. "How much time do we have?" I asked Bellamy. He looked at his fingers and did some calculations. "Approximately 9-10 days," he said. "That's enough time, I guess. Tonight, we pack up for tomorrow. But now, we eat then we rest and get up and the crack of dawn," I said. Everyone looked at me wide eyed. "What?" I shrugged. "Look at you take charge," Olivia playfully punch my arm. I giggled. "Well then, it's settled. You're leaving tomorrow. So, who's gonna help me prepare dinner?" Dad asked. We all looked at each wondering who was going to be brave enough to step forward.
