I stretched as I waited for a few more campers to sign up for the Archery club. Of course I was in charge of the club because I was the best archer in the club. But it seemed as of the campers didn't like archery as much. Or maybe it's because last Summer, I was showing off my skills and running it in everyone's faces. But then what's the point of having an awesome talent if you're not going to display it to the whole world to see. I checked the clipboard and saw that there were five campers who already signed up. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and watched as the campers glance at my table and walk away. I've gotten used to the rejection a few hours ago. "Any luck?" Olivia asked. I shook my head and Olivia frowned. "Don't worry. It's only been a few hours. More will shoe up soon," Olivia patted my shoulder and smiled warmly at me. I forced a smile and she turned and walked away. I tested my head on my hands until I heard someone say, "Archery Club, huh?  Didn't know that was allowed." I raised my head to see who said that. My eyes met a pair of ghostly eyes that were windows to any empty soul. "Bellamy?" I asked. I suppose my voice squeaked a bit because Bellamy raised a brow. "Surprise?" he asked. I shook my head vigorously. "No no no! Well maybe. I haven't seen you since this morning," I pointed out and he shrugged. "Ended up being busy," he said, looking at the clipboard. "With?" I asked, the curiosity getting the best of me. "Stuff," he said, raising his head, his eyes once again meeting mine. "You know how to use a bow?" He asked, and I nodded proudly. "Why wouldn't I?" I said, with a smirk displayed on my face. "Can I see?" he asked. I frowned. "You mean now?" I asked, looking around for nearby counsellors. "I mean, when you're not busy," he quickly said. I smiled and stood up. "Well, I'm not super busy right now. I can show you," I said. Bellamy smiled slightly, making his excitement very easy to spot. "Meet me at the lake in ten minutes." I said and he nodded as he blended within the crowd of students.

I snuck my bow and quiver filled with arrows out of the Wolf cabin. I didn't want anyone seeing me walking around with my weaponry around like I'm ready to shoot anyone and anything I saw. After a few minutes, I was able to get away from the crowd unseen and I ran to the lake, where I saw Bellamy staring at the horizon. To his left, I saw six target stands a few feet away from him. He had his hands in his leather jacket pockets. I tapped his shoulder and he turned around and faced me. "When did you get these here?" I asked, pointing at the target stands. Bellamy pursed his lips and shrugged. "They were here when I got here?" He nervously laughed. I raised a brow and smirked at him. "Right. Let's be quick about this before anyone catches us," I said and Bellamy nodded. I stood in position and I took an arrow out of the quiver and loaded it. I held my bow tightly as I aimed for the first bullseye. I let the arrow fly straight to the first target stand and it landed right in the middle. "Bullseye!" I threw my fist up in the air. "That could've just been luck," Bellamy teased. "Still doubt me, eh? No matter," I said as I took out another arrow from my quiver and loaded it. I aimed it at the second target stand. I let it loose and flies straight to the bullseye. I repeated this until I I scored in all the target stands. With my bow in my hands, I felt powerful at that moment. Even without my powers. I felt stronger. More evolved. I turned around and faced Bellamy who's eyes were wide open and his mouth gaping. "I told you I'm good," I smirked. "Good isn't even one of the words of describe that. They did say you're excellent at this," he mumbled the last part but unfortunately for him, I heard. "Who's they?" I asked, raising a brow. His amazement faded from his face and he stared at me. "Oh, I meant the other campers," he said.  But I could tell he was lying. I just went along with it and nodded. "Speaking of which," he said as he pointed behind me. I turned around and saw a group of campers standing behind my table, searching for the owner of the club. Shoot. I faced Bellamy and waved as I ran back to my table before I got into any trouble.

At the end of the day, I had fifteen campers who joined my club. I smiled at the clipboard. It was better than nothing. We handed the names of the participants to the counsellors to give to the Camp Directors. I got in the Wolf Cabin and saw that everyone was present. Even Bellamy. "Who's the cutie?" Aurora asked, which earned an eye roll from me and some of the boy campers. I got I'm bed and passes out. After a long and exhausting day, I would've expect a good night's sleep. But except, I was greeted with horrid dreams. Once again.

I dreamt that I was in the forest, not far from the camp. A few feet ahead of me, I saw light. Torch fires. I walked towards the light, because I'm reasonable that way. As I got closer, I heard voices. The voice got louder and louder. I could hear clearly what they were talking about. Even though this was a dream and they couldn't hear me, I felt the urge of hiding. So I did just that. I ducked I'm the bushes and listened carefully. "We need to get that phoenix before they do!" One of them said. The voice was really raspy. I almost got out of the bushes and tried to offer him some tea for his throat. But then it clicked. That voice. It sounded familiar. I remembered it from Last Summer. It was my least favourite troll, Zogark. Then it dawned onto me. It was a group of trolls. "The burning chicken?" One of the trolls asked. Zogark face palmed himself. "No, you imbecile! Arcturus is very powerful. And he might help us! Help the Lord!" He said and all the other trolls chanted. I wondered how the campers couldn't hear the commotion going on out here. "But what about the guardian?" One of the trolls asked. He had scars all over his face and armoury. "Bah! Leave that traitor to me. We need to focus on getting that phoenix. That stupid girl is going to get in our way somehow!" Zogark barked. Obviously, the 'stupid girl' was me. "And we're running out of time!" Zogark said. "Zogark! With all due respect, you know we need that foolish boy to show us the way. He's the only one who knows where he is," the troll with the scars said. Zogark sighed before making his decision. "Very well. We'll send someone to Golden Arrow Camp to fetch him. After we're done with him, we kill him."

I woke up, sweating. I looked around and saw that everyone was still sleeping. I tried remembering the details of my dream. There was now a Lord? And who was he? Why are Zogark assisting him and to do what? And Zogark mentioned something about a guardian. I glanced at Olivia and Liam. I sat there for a while thinking about what guardian he was talking about. I looked outside and the sun hadn't even risen yet. I sighed and lied in bed again, trying to get warm even though I was soaked in sweat. Maybe they'll think I'm sick and I won't do anything tomorrow. Then my heart stopped beating when the thought came to me. Zogark said something about sending someone here to fetch him. Whoever that was, I had to protect him. But how am I going to know who Zogark was referring to. I quickly glanced at Bellamy and Jaelynn. They were both sleeping peaceful. I didn't want to intrude them. I lied there alone, collecting my thoughts together. I couldn't tell Liam or Olivia yet. I'll just have to do this myself. I closed my eyes trying to get some sleeping so I'll be ready to face whatever was coming this way.
