heyy i'm back for #2 :D it's been a while but it's raining outside so i'm trying to have a cozy and relaxing day and decided to write something. hopefully you enjoy! stay safe everyone and remember to drink lots of water <3

The soft click of shoes on the was the only sound as they quietly made their way through the grocery store. The four of them were out later at night, picking up ingredients to bake a late-night snack. It was very abrupt, Kuroo just had a sudden craving for cake. Kenma was sitting in the cart and playing on his psp, while Bokuto happily pushed the cart down the aisles. Akaashi held hands with Kuroo while paying attention to the products on the shelves, looking for the right ingredients.

Bokuto grabbed some oreos from the shelf, and slowly took multiple more boxes, as Akaashi rolled his eyes at his love for them. The quiet sounds of a level being cleared from Kenma's psp were heard as he saved the file and set the device down.

"Are we almost done?" Kenma tiredly said to the rest of his boyfriends as he leaning back to the edge of the cart, trying to get comfortable. "Yeah, I think so. Maybe just a few more things to stock up and I'd say we're done," Akaashi answered, "Just hold on a few more minutes." Kenma was struggling to relax against the side of the shopping cart, so he asked Kuroo if he could borrow his jacket for a little bit.

"Okay thanks, 'Kaashi. Can I see your jacket please, by the way, Kuro?" Kenma said while trying to stifle a yawn. "Mhm, of course," Kuroo said as he pulled it off himself and handed it over to the younger, "Here you go, baby."

Kenma took the large jacket and put it into a ball, setting it against the bottom of the shopping cart and then laid his head on the fabric. He breathed in the scent of his boyfriend and sighed, feeling comfortable at last. He closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep for the remainder of their shopping trip, quietly mumbling, "Thanks, Kuro."

As they continued down the aisles of the store for another 20 minutes, Kuroo, Bokuto, and Akaashi had finished their rounds and gotten everything that they were lacking and some new foods too. Kuroo motioned for Bokuto to wake Kenma up from his nap in the cart, to which he started shaking him lightly. He stirred awake and hid his face in Kuroo's jacket, not wanting to be woken up. Muffled sounds came from the boy, to which Bokuto translated as: "I'm trying to sleepppp, what do you want?" in an annoyed voice.

"We're done shopping, Ken-Ken. You need to get up so we can go to the checkout" Bokuto whispered as to not hurt Kenma's ears after he just woke up. He groggily sat up and with Bokuto's help, he climbed out of the shopping cart and handed the jacket back to Kuroo. He thanked him for lending it to him, with Kuroo replying with an "Anytime, Kitten!"

They made their way over to the cash register and started unloading their items onto the conveyor belt. While waiting for Akaashi to finish the transaction, Bokuto slipped his hand into Kuroo's, and smiled at him, as Kuroo smiled back. They swung their hands back and forth as all their food was bought and paid for. As they walked away the cashier looked at them and smiled. She was happy there were people who weren't afraid to express their love and thought they were cute together.

They all walked through the parking lot, realizing it's started raining. Their shoes make tiny splashes in the puddles as they brought their groceries to the car. Quickly disposing of the bags in the trunk, they quickly ran inside to avoid getting wet, although Bokuto and Kuroo didn't care about their clothes getting soaked as much.

Once in the car, they turned on some music and started driving home. Kenma, who sat in the passenger seat, turned to Akaashi and asked, "Can I turn on some music, Keiji?" Even though it was a short 5-minute drive, Akaashi nodded his head yes to the older and Kenma scrolled through his Spotify for a good playlist that they would all enjoy.
