Chapter 16

When I woke up, Gal was with me this time. I was still cuddled up and on her chest as she held me tightly. I want to wake up like this every day with her for the rest of my life. As I looked down at the sleeping body below me, I couldn't help but think how much I love her and how I would do anything for her. I also couldn't help but think how fucking sore she made me last night, I don't even think I can walk right now. I reached my hand up and started to stroke Gal's face with my thumb like she had done last night. I took in all her features and I just couldn't stop staring at her with a faint smile on my face. After a few minutes, I felt her hand softly wrap around my wrist as her thumb started to stroke my hand. Those brown eyes that pulled me in from the beginning opened and I couldn't help but just look deep into them. I then took my other hand and grabbed her cheek and pulled her into a kiss. This kiss wasn't rough and fast, it was slow and loving. It was like time would never run out as if it had froze and I would be stuck in this amazing moment forever. When I pulled away, we both had wide smiles and we both couldn't stop staring at each other.

"I love you so much my rose. More than life itself."

"I love you too Gal. More than words will ever let me describe."

We just laid there for a while, giving each other kisses and just staring at each other until Gal decided it was time to eat. When we finished eating, Gal carried me back to my room and helped me get into new clothes. Once she finished helping me change, I heard my phone go off. It was the group chat and they were saying how they wanted to hang out today and also how they felt so hungover. When I told Gal about my plans, she said she would drive me over to Connor's house.

When we got to Connor's house, I turned and looked at Gal who was already looking at me.

"Are you sure you don't want to come with me?"

"No, it's fine. Go hang out without them."

"Alright baby. I love you and I'll text you when I'm ready for you to pick me up."

"Ok, I love you too."

I gave her a kiss and then wobbled out of the car, which only caused her to giggle. I shook my head and limped to the door. I let myself in and waved bye to Gal. When I walked into the kitchen, I looked up at saw all of my friends trying not to laugh at me.

"She actually has you limping."

"Shut up Dylan."

"Maybe you shouldn't have ignored her when she was texting you while we were getting ready."

"Maybe but that was the best sex I ever had so I'm not really complaining."

They all just shook their heads and we all fell into a comfortable conversation with each other. That's all we did all day, just talked and hung out. Nothing special nothing extreme, just us being relaxed.

As nighttime approached, I texted Gal that it was time to come and get me. It didn't take her long to pick me up and I was soon saying my goodbyes and love you's to my friends. When I got in the car, Gal was waiting for me with a perfect smile on her face. She grabbed my hand and left a kiss on it and then started the car. On the way home, we talked about what we both did and just enjoyed the drive home.

Once we got home, I felt my eyes grow heavy and let out a yawn.

"Let's get you to bed."

When we got in bed, Gal cuddled behind me with an arm around my waist, pulling me into her. As I started to fall asleep, all I could think about was how today was perfect. How I wanted my life to always be like this, just perfectly simple. That night, I went to bed with a huge smile on my face.
