Tw: suicide

All I could do was sit here and think about all the memories I had with Gal as tears rolled down my cheeks. I can't believe she is actually gone. My world is crushed and nothing has color in it. She was my light and now all of the light is gone. How can you live in a world that has no light, no love, nothing. All I knew was I couldn't, I couldn't do anything without her. I grabbed Gal's phone and smiled as I saw her lock screen. It was a picture of us laying on a hill with the sun setting in the back. I remember that day so vividly. Everything was so perfect that day and I was so happy. I unlocked her phone and went to her contacts. I then found Ivy's contact and pressed the call button. She answered pretty quickly.

"Hey Gal, how did it go."

Gal talked to her about proposing to me. This though only caused me to break down again.

"Skylar is that you. Did something happen?"

"Ivy everything was going so perfect and I said yes and we were both so happy until it happened in a flash."

"Skylar, what happened?"

"He shot her. She's gone. Never going to be in my life again."

"Who shot her. What. I'm buying a ticket right now to go there. Call Connor and tell him to come to get you."

"There is no use. I'll be gone too"

"What do you mean. Skylar, you better not try and do what I think you are going to do."

Ivy was now sobbing, I could hear it through the phone.

"Ivy I'm sorry but I can't go through life without her. She was my everything. I'm sorry, I love you and I will always be thankful for our friendship and you. Please tell Connor and Dylan that I love them and I'm thankful for them too."

"I love you too but please don't do this Skylar, please."

"I'm sorry."

With that, I ended the call and set Gal's phone down. When I looked at Gal, I took in her appearance for the last time, making sure that I would never forget a single detail. Even in the state, she was in, she was still so beautiful. I leaned down and gave her one last kiss before I softly picked her head up and moved it to the ground. When I looked down at my dress, I saw that my white dress was crimson now as her blood-covered me just like it has done herself. I then started to walk towards the water and when I made it to the ledge, I jumped in. I watched as the clear blue water started to turn red from all the blood I was covered in. I closed my eyes and just thought about Gal. When I first met her. When she brought me here. When she first said I love you. Every amazing memory I had of her. I then started to feel my lungs squeeze for air and my head pound as my body was so desperate to get some air. My last thought was that It was all going to be ok, I was going to be with Gal. Water started to fill my lungs and I felt death starting to chase me until it finally caught me.

What was supposed to be the perfect love story turned into a tragic one. Two people who were so in love with each other have both succumbed to the inevitable, known as death, for each other. One saved the other and the other couldn't live without the one. They should've lived a happy life together with two beautiful children and happily married but instead were met with their fate early. They would both be greatly missed by their loved ones and friends but they were happy with each other in a greater place. A place where they could do whatever they wanted and could live with each other forever and be happy. Love isn't always forever but for them it was. Their love was so powerful and strong that it could've lasted lifetimes for them. Skylar would always be Gal's perfect rose.
