CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE

Isabella's POV

"Next time don't be a dick to her"

I roll my eyes and continue to eat my sandwich. Jay looks at me disappointed in a way and I just try to ignore him. Then I look at Ally who looks scary as fuck. "Listen she started it!"

"She's clearly in a bad mood today, why make it worse? And then argue back" Em says with a brow raised.

This morning Olivia woke up in the most foul mood ever, she's been argumentative and getting annoyed easily. She argued with me because I didn't wash the dishes even though I was peeing. She broke into the bathroom looking at me with a death stare. Nearly shit myself. I argued back and she got really pissed, then when I got to school we had a small altercation in the halls.

The past month we haven't had sex and she has been really busy with assignments apparently but none of the other teachers are doing the amount she is doing. I suspected there could be something more as she comes home late and seems less talkative recently. I brush it off but this morning it has been really bad.

After lunch I have her as my last class. I walk into the room and take my seat. Eventually everyone else comes in and sits. Olivia walks in looking very very angry. She sits down and I watch her slowly calming down, but back to a stoic feature. "Today's lesson we will be reading from chapter seven" We all get our books out and I chill as I know by the time we get to me it will be time to go home.

I stare out the window and watch the trees in the courtyard. It's so peaceful as the wind moves the leaves slowly. "Isabella!"

No longer peaceful.

"Yes?"

She looks at me with fury, "Read the next chapter"

"And that issss?"

She stands up and points to the door. "Get out!"

"Seriously?!"

She walks to my desk and I feel her anger growing, "I said. Get. Out." Her voice makes me shiver.

"No thank you" I give her a big smile.

It's like a nerve ticked in her eye, "Go to the principles office right now Brooks!" She says sternly and then walks to her desk. She gets the phone and my jaw drops as she actually starts calling the office.

I stand up and grab my stuff, I leave immediately and head to the office. If I were to leave school then I'd be in a lot of trouble. My parents would kill me, Shadow chomping on my skeleton.

I walk straight into Marcos office and he looks up with shock. "What the fuck did you do to Olivia?"

I sat right down on the chair and looked at him with a pout making him laugh. "I don't know...well I do know"

"You need to behave Izzy. Seriously"

I nod and think about something, "Hey Marco. Has Liv been here during after school hours?"

"No why?"

"How'd you know?"

"I'm the last one that leaves, we see what teachers check out and what time. Liv always leaves at the same time"

She's been lying. She told me she's at school marking work everyday.

Is she cheating?

Marco told me to stay in his office till the end of the lesson. Once the day was finished I headed straight home. I checked the time and hopefully this will be one of the few days that Olivia comes home on time. I start dinner and play some light music in the back. I feel my phone vibrating and check to see it's my mum, "Hey mum whats-"
