Shuichi's POV:

"You almost done in there Shuichi?" A voice from the other side of my dressing room door yelled out to me.

"Yep just need to put my jacket on and then I'll be out there in a second," I responded back. I slipped the royal blue jacket over my ivory collared shirt. I gazed at the floor-length mirror (your welcome for the vErY uSeFuL iNfOrMaTiOn). I gulped as I fidgeted with the collar trying to make it straight. I mean who wouldn't be scared? It's the first time I will meet everyone in the neighboring kingdoms besides the two closest to me; Kaito and Amani.

As I walked out of the room a purple haired boy looked over at me and smiled.

"You look amazing Kaito," I said politely.

"Shuichi, you need to stop being so formal around me. We are friends, aren't we?" Kaito said while sighing. I giggle nervously.

"Sorry, I guess I'm not used to not being polite." I sighed, Kaito was my first friend and before him I would just stay home and never go out. But now that he is here I have been doing more things away from the castle. I really appreciated Kaito but also at the same time he convinced me to go to this tea that one family is hosting. It'll be my first time going to an event with more people than just Amani or Kaito.

"It's fine but we have to go soon or we'll be late." He decided while standing up and walking out the door, I followed him out of the door frame. (this was a few hours before so not at the same time the tea party is starting)

Kokichi's POV(start of party):

I was so excited I would get to see Keade and her new friend! I think her name was... Miu? But also I get to see all the other neighboring royals. I was thinking about how I could make up lies when someone rUdElY interrupted me >:(.

"Kokichi! We have to go, the guests are arriving right now!" I snapped back into reality when I heard my friend yelling to me, I looked up and she was standing in the door frame waiting for me. Oops-

"Sowwy Maki-chan," I said, batting my eyes. She grimaced.

"Please refrain from ever doing that again-" I giggled and ran up to her. We walked down the main staircase to one of the side doors, I kept thinking of my lies until someone interrupted me AGAIN!

"Are you girls heading down to the back garden," A voice called. I was about to rain hellfire upon them but then I realized who it was so I regained my composure.

Kirumi, one of the maids, and the best maid U-U, was standing with a platter holding a delicate teacup, probably for my father doing all the paperwork upstairs.

"Yes we are heading there right now Miss." Maki said, smiling.

"Please call me Kirumi," She said, bowing her head slightly, "and have fun."

"Thank you Kirumi," I said, linking my arm with Maki and dragging her down the stairs.

When we reached the garden I was surprised. The green trees draped over the small area making it look like a jungle. The pretty blue pond glised in the shimmering sun reflecting the tables draped in a white lace tablecloth. On top there were many different platters with tea cups with the prettiest designs, plates filled with the cutest little pastries, and to top it all off there was a table in the middle with one of the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever laid my eyes upon. I smiled, this was going to be so fun!

"I know I've been here before but it never gets old seeing how pretty it is here." Maki said, I agreed, this place was one of the most beautiful places on our property. I am very glad we chose this place. I'm also very happy that it was Miss Angie who coordinated this. Suddenly there was a noise behind us, we quickly turned around to see what was there.

"Kokichi?" A little gasp slipped out of my lips as my eyes met her eyes. (Lmao I searched up the color of this person's eyes and it said 'light plum color' so I decided not to put that in there :D.)
