| Chapter 3 |

Kokichi's POV:

"Kokichi?" When I turned around I saw a blonde haired girl in a light pink lace/tulle dress. I ran up and threw myself onto her causing her to wobble a little then steady herself.

"Keadeeee!!! I haven't seen you in like forever!!!" I shouted, causing her to laugh.

"I know it's been like forever," She said smiling, "Ah! Hello Maki."

"Hello Keade, it is nice to see you again," Maki replied politely. I was about to whine about how they were being too formal but then I noticed somebody behind Keade.

I peeked behind Kaede and found another girl, I giggled.

"You must be Miu, Keade has told me so much about you! You're so pretty and your dress is beautiful, did Miss Angie make it or another, oh! I must know their name!" I said very quickly.

"Kokichi, stop it, you'll overwhelm her!" Maki scolded me, I looked at the girl, she didn't look intimidated...

"That's right, I'm Miu!" She said with a confident smirk, I already liked her.

The calm ones sighed and looked at us.

"This is going to be a long party..." Keade said tiredly.

Shuichi's POV:

"We should be coming up on the Ouma's property very soon," Kaito said to me. I turned my head up to look out the window. Lush green grass fields surrounded us, all of them twinkling in the rays of the sun. I peeked outside the window a little further and I spotted a large stone castle on the hill we were approaching

"I believe their house is upon that hill," I stated. Kaito sighed about something, " is there something I did wrong?" I questioned worriedly.

"No, you just never act casual around me anymore,' he said looking at me, "but when we were kids you were so open."

"I'm sor-" I started.

"Andddd you always apologize, even when you didn't do anything!"

"I'm sor-" He glared at me, "Fine, I guess I'm not used to being comfortable around people."

"I guess that makes sense," Kaito said. As a silence settled between us the driver yelled out that we were coming up on their front gates, I leaned forward to expand my vision of the property.

There was a big bump and I fell out of my seat (oUcH). Kaito started to laugh.

"Ouch that must have really hurt." He said in between laughs.

"Yeah it did," I said fake crying while smoothing my clothes. I was about to sit back down when the freaking carriage decided to stop and AGAIN I was thrown down. (wow sounds like something we jUsT heard.)

Kaito started to hyperventilate with laughter. I was about to rage when I realized that we were in front of a building.

"Kaito, I think we are here," I said, he stopped laughing and looked up.

Suddenly the door opened revealing a servant holding the door open.

"Thank you," I said and they bowed their heads respectively. I started to walk away from the carriage to make way for Kaito.

"Shuichi, is that you?" I turn to see a familiar avocado. :) Next to him was a boy who looked our age with white hair. I'm guessing that he was one of the other royals.

"Hello Amani." I said smiling.

"Still as polite as always," He sighed.

"I know," A voice from behind me shouted, "I gave him a whole speech about how he was too nice."

"Which ended with me falling out of my seat." I cried.

Amani chuckled and suddenly realized that there was another presence right next to him.

"Oh! This is Kiibo! He lives on the other side of my property." He stated.

"Hello nice to meet you," The boy named Kiibo said.

"You too, my name is Shuichi Saihara."

"And I'm Kaito Momota!"

"I am so very sorry to interrupt but we are ready to lead you to the garden," A maid said bowing her head.

"Ah, that's okay and I believe we are ready," Amani said smiling.

"Okay, then if you would follow me."
