As Jared and Evan were sitting on the sofa, Jared kept noticing Evan shaking his leg up and down from the corner of his eye. He had done this a lot, it was probably one of his most common stims.
"Ev, I'm trying to focus, it feels like there's a goddamn earthquake in here!" Jared teased, snapping Evan out of his trance. Evan looked up.
"O-oh, sorry Jared." He said and kept bouncing his leg. Jared shook his head and laughed. Evan continued for a few minutes. This situation was pretty familiar to Jared. Evan would get nervous at random times, and this was one of them. Jared knew what he had to do.
"Ev, c'mere." Jared said with a grin on his face. Evan looked up from his laptop again and into Jared's eyes.
"Yes?" He asked, stuttering slightly.
"Just come here!" Jared said and motioned for him to come. Evan got up from his spot on the couch and sat by Jared.
"Turn around." Jared ordered and held onto Evan's shoulders, facing him in the other direction. Evan gasped slightly in surprise and made a confused face as he felt Jared's fingers massaging his collarbone. Evan jumped slightly at the touch and turned around, raising an eyebrow at Jared.
"Jared what-"
"Jeez Evan, just relax I'm trying to help you out!" Jared smirked and turned his head to face back.
"Jared, we have to do our work." Evan mumbled, slightly annoyed.
"Fuck our work." Jared shrugged and started squeezing on Evan's shoulders. Evan groaned slightly and grabbed his laptop to keep working on the project.
"Hey, I'm letting you take a break!" Jared whined and squeezed his shoulders a bit harder to annoy Evan.
Evan tried to shake him off and didn't take his eyes off the screen.
"Jared, that hurts!" He whined again.
"My bad," Jared mumbled and kept massaging Evan's back and shoulders. Evan let out a sigh and put his laptop on the floor.
"Okay fine, make it quick!" Evan said.
"Do what quick?" Jared asked jokingly.
"JARED-"
"Okay fine, I'm glad to see that you're finally accepting my help!" Jared smirked. Evan mumbled slightly in embarrassment and let Jared continue, trying his best to relax.
It had been a few minutes, and Evan was surprised to admit that Jared was actually somewhat good at this. He had been more relaxed than he was five minutes ago, yet he was a little on edge constantly as Jared would purposely squeeze too hard to piss him off. Luckily for him, he didn't.
"There ya go Ev!" Jared said as he playfully patted Evan's back when he had finished. Evan flinched slightly and turned around to face Jared.
"Uh, thanks Jared, I guess.."
