5|Gym Membership

So i got a random idea for this chapter from a 80's imagines book!

Cassie jumped up from bed, startled. It took her a minute to process if she was actually hearing something or it was a dream. Once she realized it was a phone ringing, she slowly got out of bed. She dragged herself to the hallway, grumbling, before picking up the phone.

"Ah hello! I am sorry to inform you that your gym membership has been canceled. We will still offer a free protein milkshake, of any flavor!

If you decide to take the offer, please call us at 1-800-you-got-pranked!" The person on the other end of the line said as people in the backround laughed.

The person on the other line burst out laughing right before they hung up.

"I- what-" Cassie said as she didnt fully process what the hell just happened.

Once she kinda fully processed it, she realized the voice was familiar. If she wasnt so tired and grumpy she would of known exactly who it was.

Cassie put the phone up and dragged herself back to her room. She stood there for a second trying to figure out the voice. Then she looked at the time..

4:00am

"You're fucking joking me? What shitball decides to prank call someone at 4 am-?" Cassie said as she rolled into bed.

Once her tired mind mostly forgot about the prank call, she went back to sleep.

That morning after the prank call, Cassie planned to meet up with The Ducks to go to a Cafe. Cassie would have just gone with Connie or Adam, but Connie wanted to go with the whole gang.

Cassie woke up around 8 am since they planned to meet at 10.

She took a shower, then spent around two minutes to find an outfit. She ended up settling on a black tank top tucked into high wasted pants with high top platform converse.

Once she dried her hair, it was around 9:20, so she just waited for Charlie to pick her up.

Charlie arrived 10 minutes after she was finished getting ready. They walked to the cafe, which wasn't too far. Cassie was glad it wasn't too far, because that meant she didn't have to walk for a long time.

As soon as they stepped into the cafe, the smell of coffee filled Cassie's nose. And she wasnt complaining.

They walked over to the group, which was filling up two tables. Cassie and Charlie were the last ones to arrive. Cassie definitely blames it on Charlie's slow pace.

"Most of us already ordered, but you can go up there and order now." Guy said to them as they stood by the table.

"Im fine, i only came because my mom wants me to socialize with you guys more." Said Cassie as she sat down across from Fulton.

"Oh Cas, im sorry to hear about that gym membership!"

Cassie looked to the right of Fulton. Averman. With that stupid smirk.

"Oh Lester, sorry to hear that you were adopted! That must be difficult to deal with!" Cassie retorted with an annoyed look on her face.

Cassie turned to Adam, ignoring the look Averman gives her as she talks to the blonde haired boy about his plans for this week.
