~Bill Denbrough~
Bill walked down the sidewalk with his bike at his side. He tried his best to distract himself from what just happened."He thrusts his f-fuh-fists- ugh- He thrusts his fists ag-gainst the p-p-p-p- shit!"
He had given up on trying to say that without stuttering a while ago, but he desperately needed a distraction.
He really just came out to Beverly. He couldn't believe it. It went well, it's not like she was a homophobe or anything, in fact, everyone thinks she's a lesbian.
(A/N: you see what im getting at here..?)
Bill included, there's just something about her.
Bill felt really bad for just breaking up with Beverly and not giving her a good explanation.
"I just.... I- it just.." was the only thing he came up with when Bev asked why.
~Flashback to earlier~
When the bell that signaled that it was time to go home rang, Bill packed his belongings quietly and set out for Beverly's bike.Anxiety gnawed at Bill's sides as left he the school to see Beverly's bright red hair pinned back with a simple white clip.
She was standing at her bike, talking to some girl with blonde hair and light freckles that dotted her face.
Bill had seen her face before, her name was.. Clove? Or Maple..
Clove and Maple looked extremely alike, and he couldn't tell which one it was from afar.
The blonde girl laughed and gently placed a hand on Beverly's arm and it almost seemed like she froze. She glanced down at her arm, and it almost seemed like she went red, and then resumed talking, but she was a lot more... smiley.
After the blonde girl left, Bill swallowed his pride, and walked over.
But she second she turned to look at him, his confidence drained.'She looks happy to see me.. Goddammit.' Bill thought to himself guiltily.
'Shes gonna hate me now.. what if she doesnt accept me.. what if she's homophobic?'
"Uh... Bill?" Beverly said, waving a hand near his eyes.
Bill snapped out of his thoughts, even more terrified with the thoughts of Beverly being homophobic swirling around his mind.
"Oh! Sorry.. U-Uh. I just wanted t-t-to talk to y-you ab-...about something." Bill said, cringing at every chopped up word.
"Sure! What is it?" Bev said, smiling, giving him her undivided attention.
'Jesus fucking christ this is gonna be harder than i thought.'
"B-Beverly.. I-...... I- think.. Beverly, Im g-"
~Flashback over~
Bill snapped back into reality and immediately tensed at the memory. Before he could think too hard about it, Bill's scar on his hand started to burn. He raised his hand up to his face to see if he had been bitten or stung by anything, but there was nothing, just the big scar on his hand that he's had for about two years now. Not faded at the slightest.
'That's weird..' Bill thought to himself.
Wasn't Eddie saying something about his hand burning at lunch earlier today? All the sudden, memories start rushing back to him.
The sewers, the barrens, the Neibolt house, the boat, Georgie's raincoat, the missing posters, Bill's basement, Eddie's arm cast, the way he faked sick in order to get out of playing with Georgie. All of it.
He shook his head and closed his eyes, trying to clear the images that just won't leave his mind. They've been there since the day they killed it.
'It's over with. It's gone. you HAVE to let go, like Stan said' he thought to himself.
Bill's mind was immediately soothed at the thought of his friend Stan.
He was completely lost in thought when he ran into someone.
He fell to the ground, and took in his surroundings a bit before getting back up.
"Suh-suh- sorr-" He said, but as he looked up, he stopped himself from finishing the word.
When he looked up, the boy he ran into was wearing a red tank top, dirt-covered blue jeans, and work boots. Of course, he ran right into Henry Bowers.
(A/N: IM SORRY BUT WHAT IS AN IT FANFIC WITHOUT THE ICONIC HENRY BOWERS RUN IN)
