~No Ones Pov~

Days and days passed, and Ben was nowhere to be found. The losers slept less and less every night.

"Guys, come on, think rationally. What if Ben got away?" Stan said, interrupting the small chatter amongst the group.

"Yeah, because man titties make you really fast." Rockie scoffed, crossing their arms and leaning back in their seat.

"Sh-Shut up Rockie." Bill rolled his eyes and looked back towards Stan.

There was a sudden knocking in Stanley's doorframe, making everyone jump and turn to look who it was.

Stanley's dad.

"Hi, Mr. Uris." Bev smiled sweetly and genuinely. Bev has always adored Stan's dad.

"Hi, bev. You kids might want to check the news.." Mr. Uris sighed, walking back downstairs. He'd become a lot more relaxed and carefree after Stan's bar mitzvah.

Everyones hearts pounded as they watch Stan flip through the channels, praying that what they were about to see didn't involve Ben.

"Another child mysteriously disappears in Derry Maine, this being the third kid to go missing this week."

Richie felt a pit in his stomach, having a feeling that this was about to be bad.

"a 15 year old freshmen who attended Derry High School was reported missing just about 15 minutes after her school was dismissed for the day—"

Mike shifted in his seat uncomfortably, biting his nails and staring at the TV anxiously.

"We're gonna know her.." Eddie nervously stated. Richie squeezed Eddie's hand, trying to reassure him.

"A girl by the name of Clove Byers, who began her journey home on her bike, and supposedly never came home according to her immediate family."

Everyones heart dropped to the floor.

They showed footage of Clove's parents, crying and nervously fidgeting with their hands.

"Authorities are working hard to retrieve the girl, and information will be released as soon as it's delivered. This is Micheal Nimbus, Channel 6 News."

Then the screen went blank.

"Oh my god." Bev whispered, barely audible with her hand covering her mouth.

"Hey, at least it wasn't Ben!" Richie added, his voice laced with worry.

Eddie, who was holding Richie's hand, punched him in the arm and mumbled something under his breath.

"B-..Beep beep Richie." Maple sighed, and turned towards Stan expectantly.

Bill opened his mouth to speak, but the second he did, the TV cut back on.

"This is Micheal Nimbus on Channel 6 News, Clove Byers' body was recovered just minutes ago, missing her left arm. Forensic Scientists on the scene say her arm was bitten off by some wild creature, as the teeth marks are jagged and the cut was definitely unclean. Fellow student at Derry High School, Benjamin Hanscom, still remains missing, and there are no signs of him from family or friends. This is Micheal Nimbus on Channel 6 News."

The screen went blank once more.

"THE FUCKING CLOWN! THIS IS BAD, GUYS!" Eddie rambled while violently shaking his inhaler.

"No shit, Eds. You've cracked the case." Rockie said unamused, and Maple had to cover her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing.

"Okay guys, there's nothing we can do about Clove. I know that shook all of us up pretty good," Mike stated, glancing towards Bev, who was brushing tears off of her face.
