FAVOURITE WEAPONS

"Hey guys!" The boy with blond hair sat with the girl with black hair from Percy's pictures. "As you can see, we are not Percy. I'm Jason, this is my sister Thalia. We're Percy's cousins and are here today to list the pros and cons of different weapons. We'll also tell you our personal favourites."

"Alright, let's start with the spear." Thalia said. "This weapon has many pros. First off, it can hit really hard. Harder than a sword. It also has a good reach to it. And you can throw it. Homo sapiens were evolved to use spears. First as staffs to stand upright, then for hitting people, then for throwing. Plus, spears are cheaper and lower maintenance than most weapons."

"The cons, however, are that it's difficult to carry a spear around easily. It's to long to wear in a holster like a sword or dagger. It also only really has a good stabby stabby ability, so if you're a slashy slashy person, you'll find the spear difficult." Jason said. "It also has little leverage power, making it sometimes difficult to cross weapons with your opponent."

"Now, moving on to swords." Thalia said. "Advantages. Longer reach than a dagger. They're good for stabby stabby and slashy slashy. You can quite easily decapitate someone with a sword. They're better than spears in close quarters. You can get different kinds of swords. They're easy to carry around. They're popular. Also, they're easier to learn than most weapons."

"Disadvantages of the sword." Jason came in. "They're more expensive and higher maintenance than a spear due to the amount of metal. They tend to be a bit bulkier than spears and more people are trained against swords than most other things."

"Daggers. Advantages." Thalia said. "Easy to conceal, better fo close quarters, can be used to help with eyeliner, easier to throw than a sword, lighter, not as bulky as a sword."

"The disadvantages are the reach. They are very, very small. You need to be an exceptionally quick and skilled fighter to calculate exactly where you can get into an opening against someone fighting with a longer range weapon. Dagger wielders need to be fast enough to get in a hit without letting any land on themselves. Smaller warriors usually have daggers as they aren't that heavy." Jason said.

"The bow and arrow." Thalia grinned. "Long range, accurate with enough practice, doesn't require much strength, easy to pick of targets subtlety, easy to carry."

"The disadvantages are that it's easy to run out of arrows, you need exceptionally good eye sight, they aren't easy to conceal, and archers are usually targeted first." Jason listed.

"Alright, those are the only ones we're talking about today. Now, my favourite weapons are the spear, the bow and arrow, and my shield." Thalia said.

"I like my javelin and sword." Jason nodded. "See you around YouTube."
