~the next day~

-third person PoV-

Before anyone was awake, Jisoo rose up from her bed and already prepared for school.

As Jennie is the president of the school, she used her privileges to receive a new uniform from the school to give to Jisoo since hers was burnt with the fire.

After Jisoo fixed her hair, she went out her room and to the kitchen, expecting the maids to cook and she was ready to help them.

But what she didn't expect to see this person in the kitchen cooking.

"I don't intend to come out offensive but, why are you up and cooking Mrs. Kim?" Jisoo asked as she stood by the doorway.

Mrs. Kim chuckled and continued what she was doing while answering Jisoo's question.

"Well dear, I wanted to prepare something for my family today and for you too, since it's been a whole day of your stay here." Mrs. Kim said a she took out the cooked food on the pan abd garnished it.

Jisoo slowly nodded.

"May I help you?"

Mrs Kim smiled. "Be my guest"

She watched as Jisoo smiled when she cooked, knowing well that she wasn't thinking of anything that happened. And she wanted it to stay that way. She wanted Jisoo to all of her negativity washed away and see her happy again with Jennie, her daughter, as they always were.

But seeing Jisoo sad made Jennie said. And Mrs. Kim as a mother, becomes sad because her daughter is.

So she wants to help in any way she can.

After a few moments later, the rest of the family goes in the room one by one.

Jennie was in her uniform, quickly calling someone on her phone while putting her shoes on.

Taehyung was on his phone walking in.

Mr. Kim was talking to someone aggressively before ending the call, rudely interrupting the person on the other line.

Namjoon and Jin walked in normally and sat down on the seats.

At first, the breakfast was awkward between them, since there was someone new. But soon enough everyone was talking cheerfully.

Jennie looked at her phone and widened her eyes.

"Um mom I'm gonna be late for school and I've got a rescheduled meeting with someone really important that I don't want to disappoint again. Chu, let's go" She grabbed her bag and Jennie's hand and was about to leave when she stopped and went to her mother.

"See you after school mom, love you" she kissed her cheek and she grabbed Jisoo's hand again and they both ran.

Jennie was running late so she decided to take their car.

"Driver, please take us to school quickly." Jennie said to the driver and the driver nodded.

Jisoo looked at the window of the car the whole way there.

I didn't get to write a full on chapter in this book yet because I haven't had the time for it with all the events in our family.

So I haven't had the time to think of aby ideas for a good chapter since I choose quality and quantity to be the same.
